08.01.2022 Hello everyone, another year has flown by and it's time to think about the Club's Committee for the forthcoming year. A new committee will be elected at our 2021 Annual General Meeting which will be held in February at a date to be advised soon. We believe it would be beneficial for the Club and our members if the Committee is comprised of a good mix of both female and male members of different age groups. We believe the Committee, to the extent possible, should be represe...ntative of the membership so as to benefit from the different perspectives each brings to the club. To this end, we encourage all adult members to consider bringing some "new blood" and fresh ideas to the Committee by standing for election at the AGM. Of course any previous committee members can also nominate. Committee work is not onerous and requires just a little of each member's time. Advice, assistance and support is available from previous committee members if required for any new incumbent. All committee positions will be declared vacant at the AGM and the positions to be filled are: President, Treasurer, Secretary plus three General Committee Members. Committee Nomination Forms will be sent out with the Notification of AGM which will be circulated shortly.
