15.01.2022 Australians are encouraged to commemorate ANZAC Day by holding your own dawn service from your driveway, backyard or balcony. Light a candle, and honour the brave service men and women on the 25th of April. We will remember them. Lest. We. Forget. We are closed tomorrow to commemorate ANZAC Day.

13.01.2022 They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old; Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. We will remember them.

09.01.2022 Friends of Malibu. It's our plan to deep clean the Veterinary Hospital and fumigate down to the level of the most tenacious viruses. Would you please excuse us as we will need to close from 25/12/2020 until 02/01/2021. It will help the patients if prescription repeats are into front office early please. Dr Adamson

08.01.2022 Just in case you werent aware the Minister of Agriculture has stated that the role of VETERINARIANS IS AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE. The federal government has not put ANY restrictions on veterinarians other than the practice of social distancing and hygiene practices during the COVID-19 crisis. We are so happy and relieved we can continue to support you and your pets through this difficult time. We will continue to provide a full and committed service to you and your gorgeous pets in the safest way possible.

07.01.2022 Dont forget we are also offering free local delivery!

06.01.2022 While chocolate over Easter is eggcellent for we humans, please keep it away from your pets. Chocolate poisoning commonly affects dogs but can also cause harm to cats and other animals. The theobromine in chocolate triggers the release of adrenaline, which can cause restlessness, hyperactivity, trembling, vomiting, diarrhoea, increased heart rate, seizures and even death. The severity of the poisoning will depend on the size of your pet as well as the type and amount of choco...late eaten (cocoa, dark and cooking chocolate all have especially high levels of theobromine). If your pet ingests chocolate this Easter, its best to contact your vet ASAP for advice. Easter egg foil and wrappers can also be a hazard for animals, so make sure you clean them up as soon as possible. Please note we are not open on Easter Friday, Sunday or Monday. If your pet has ingested chocolate please taken them immediately to WAVES (1/640 Beeliar Drive Success WA 6164) and phone them on (08) 9412 5700 to let them know you are coming. https://www.rspca.org.au//five-easy-ways-help-animals-east

05.01.2022 Anzac Day is the time to pay our respects to the brave men and women that have served in operational service. We have all heard the stories of our Aussie Veterans but the tales of service animals are often forgotten. These brave animals played critical roles in armed conflicts from providing comfort to vital service activities. This post is in honour of our animal and human veterans that have sacrificed so much and made significant contribution.

04.01.2022 Happy Easter from Malibu Veterinary Hospital.
