24.01.2022 Throwback to one of our recently completed Elsternwick projects! #elsternwick3

24.01.2022 A peak upstairs at Elsternwick 2

22.01.2022 This weeks design inspiration comes from Robert Burneo Arcquitectos design NR2 Casa. The Ecuadorian house has been positioned to make the most of the views available to it. In this particular case, they have the Andes included in their landscape!

22.01.2022 Day 1 of piling. We adopted an alternate option to ground retention system from bored piers capping beam and shotcrete walls to CFA secant piles. This was due to the saturated water table and the inability to excavate without the ground collapsing between the piles. The CFA piling system allows for a single step process of drill and pour simultaneously avoiding any ground displacement into the pile holes.

22.01.2022 Shaping up to be a brilliant ceiling. How about those skylights?

22.01.2022 Another happy North Caulfield client. They love the tiles in their new en suite!

15.01.2022 This weeks design inspiration comes from The Double High House by Checkwitch Poiron Architects, which is positioned against the long north edge of the site in order to maximize the solar exposure to the south. In addition to the passive solar scheme, further efficiency is achieved through in-floor radiant hydronic heating, natural ventilation, a heat recovery ventilator and an efficient lighting design.

14.01.2022 How great is the finger pull detail at Elsternwick 2?

12.01.2022 Major milestone achieved on our critical path at our Hampton project. Ground floor slab/basement lid pour

12.01.2022 We loved working with Wignell's Heating & Cooking, Cheminees Philippe Fireplaces Australia, Fireworx Plumbing and FMD Architects to create this dynamic space at our Elsternwick 2 job.

12.01.2022 This weeks design inspiration comes from Nobbs Radford Architects. This design features a significant amount of concrete. Concrete is a great option for homes, especially for Australian summers because of its ability to insulate spaces. This can also mean you make a saving on your energy bills.

08.01.2022 This weeks design inspiration comes from Stephen Nickels of EcoDesignFinca. The Mallorca home includes concrete as a dominant feature, which will keep spaces cooler in summer. The reason for this is it slows down the passage of heat moving through the house.

08.01.2022 Hand over day yesterday at our malvern project. Completed 4 months ahead of schedule - testament to a cohesive team effort between client, architects and all trades involved. Great way to finish off the year. See you all in 2020.
