27.12.2021 It’s almost hard to believe Christmas is just around the corner . And so, the planning for the 2022 art calendar at MAK begins. We are endeavouring to pull together our first ever textile art exhibition for March/April. Seeking expressions of interest NOW - please get in touch.... We are also looking forward to our third SALA exhibition with expressions of interest due early 2022 ahead of the early-bird registration in March . Then watch this space for a special announcement for November ‘22 In between all of this, I will continue to work on tweaking MAK headquarters, gallery & studio space at 25 Peake Street, Karoonda . 13.10.2021 LAST CHANCE TODAY - CLOSING 3PM!! The second-last open yesterday was a huge success. We continued to have a steady stream of local and out-of-town visitors through and sold another three artworks. I’m so proud of the standard of the work our artists have produced this year, and this has been reflected in our visitors snapping up some quality one-of-a-kind pieces! ... Even if you have been through during the first few opens, I would highly recommend a second look through as additional works have been added since then

29.09.2021 Last call for Mallee Arts Karoonda pop-up gallery viewings! There are only THREE MORE opportunities left to view works until this gallery is finished. Of 19 featured mallee artists, we have been super lucky this year to include works of art from THREE locals; Kylie Martin Art, Cindy Rooke - Visual Artist & Abbi Paech who ALSO have works projected onto the Karoonda Silo Art as part of SALA. Wow!... Don’t miss your chance to see the amazing works of art our mallee artists have on display. The gallery will be open on Thursday evening 26th Aug from 6:45pm for approx 2 hours during the MAK ‘open studio night’. The last daytime scheduled opens are: Friday 27th Aug 9am-4pm Saturday 28th Aug 9am-3pm
