24.01.2022 If you are planning to head up to the Mallee Machinery Days tomorrow, please note that the airstrip will be closed. If you are planning to fly in tomorrow please use Ouyen Airport and contact the secretary on 0427 836 849 to arrange a lift to Speed.

17.01.2022 If you are travelling to Speed this afternoon take care on the Sunraysia Highway. There has been an accident with a large piece of machinery and half of the highway is closed North of Lascelles. Police are allowing traffic through, but if you also have large machinery it may be better to take an alternative route.

03.01.2022 The men of the Speed Lions Club work long hours in all sorts of conditions to raise money for their local community. Staging an event of this size is not an easy task. One thing that we don't do is sell our exhibitors' details, and so it is really disappointing to discover that a company unknown to us has been contacting this year's exhibitors and trying to sell these details. This company does not represent us so please don't be fooled. A complete list is available in the 2018 gate program which is available free of charge to all attendees of the field days. Please share this post so that no-one gets caught by this trap...

03.01.2022 While you are busy planning your trip up to Speed in a few short weeks, the hardworking men of the Speed Lions Club are out working hard at one of the many site preparations that are necessary to turn a paddock into a thriving community for just a couple of days a year!

01.01.2022 It's a balmy 7.8 degrees here at the field days and heading for a respectable 17 degrees. So hop in the car and head on up to Speed for a fabulous day. Gate entry is $15 and children are admitted free of charge. Be quick or you'll miss out on the yummy bacon and egg rolls supplied by the Tempy-Patche playgroup
