07.01.2022 If you’re looking for a Christmas present that definitely won’t go to the back of the junk draw, why not go for Archies. They’re the world’s comfiest thongs, look great, have no blowouts, plus their arch support will keep your loved one (or yourself) pain free. Plus if you buy a pair of Archies before Christmas you’ll go into the draw to win two more pairs!

05.01.2022 Dear local skiing legends, At this time of year, we seem to see a little more of each other. It’s not that we don’t want to see you, it’s just that we would prefer it to be under better circumstances. So, before you hit the water this season, make sure you’re protecting those hammys!... Here’s three tips to help: Warm up. Sounds obvious right? Make an effort to get moving before you ski - warm up with water or land activities, such as swimming, running or even squats and hops in the boat. Make sure you do enough to break a sweat (from the activity, not just the weather!). Start with the basics. Sure, you may be feeling supercharged and ready to pick up where you left off last season, but if it’s been a while since you last hit the water, work your way back up (slowly) to your former legendary technique, allowing your muscles to adjust as you go. Check your boots and bindings aren't too tight. Allow your foot to dislodge from the skis if you fall. If you do hurt yourself, rest, ice and elevate your leg, and come in and see us for an appointment as soon as possible. Happy skiing!
