24.01.2022 Go on, get out and support a small restaurant by getting a take out dinner. Beats cooking, no washing up and keeps our excellent small businesses alive.
20.01.2022 Chloé Zuel and I are really excited to share some knowledge with a cohort of keen young performers in Tasmania. I only had the thought to look at interstate dra...ma schools and even consider performing as a career well into my final year of school. I knew of barely anyone who had. You can't be what you can't see right? Well hopefully we can shine some light on the road to a life of performing for some young hopefuls. See more

15.01.2022 Thank you. To my supporters not only to those in the Hobart City community for those of you all around the world, local, interstate and internationally. Thank you for the support and encouragement; kind words and appropriate urging during these last few months. Hobart is capital city to one of the most beautiful places on earth and it must not become just a museum piece. We can grow to be a living testament to the treasures of the past as well as take our place in a vibrant... and modern world which embraces visitors and new experiences. As CEO of the Tasmanian Small Business Council I will continue to work for the businesses who make up this vibrant southern city and our state, advocating for good policy and benevolent government. You are always able to contact me. Congratulations to all my fellow candidates who put up their hand to be counted. That you have bothered to do so speaks volumes about you as a person. Finally, thank you to my number one supporter, campaigner and friend, Roseanne Anderson. It is just the biggest blast having you there supporting me, on the street, on Facebook and in the restaurants and pubs you just HAVE to go to when getting the name out there.
14.01.2022 There's a week to go and it's not too late to change the make-up of the Hobat City Council. The voices out there have been saying we need change, now is your chance.
14.01.2022 The TSBC has been working with the Department of State Growth to develop a Small Business Growth Strategy. We now want some comments from you. Can you help? Comments wanted - Tas Business Growth Strategy -
11.01.2022 Small businesses and their employees are doing it tough right now, especially those in hospitality and tourism. With restrictions on trading, and state border...s closed, it’s more important than ever we each do our part to support local small businesses to keep Aussies in jobs and communities with the products and services they need now and into the future. They’re there for our communities in so many ways. But they need all our help to get through this by choosing local businesses when we get our hair cut, grab a coffee, or compile our tax returns. So go local first and find out how you can support small businesses: https://golocalfirst.com.au/tips-toolkits/
11.01.2022 If you are looking to do business with government, then it’s great to hear from the government to see how to do it!!
09.01.2022 The Federal Small Business Minister, Hon Michaelia Cash MP is in town and you are invited to morning tea with her. A great opportunity for some small business feedback. It is free but you must register by phoning 62241015 or Dean Young on 0421848836. I look forward to seeing you there.
07.01.2022 Our ride for the next 24 hrs approaches.
07.01.2022 People, if you haven’t voted, do it now. We can’t stand around the water cooler complaining about the council if you haven’t done your best to get the council you WANT. Remember to Vote for a Lord Mayor and Alderman who wants HOBART to GROW, not stagnate, and facilitate it happening.
06.01.2022 Contracting is the big disruption in today’s workforce. Don’t get trapped into thinking ‘she’ll be right’ as the penalties for getting it wrong may well send you broke.
06.01.2022 Do you have a small business and need more quality hand sanitiser? Read on. Tomorrow between 10am and 2pm
03.01.2022 Mapleton is a drop well worth worth drinking.
01.01.2022 Don’t believe any candidate who says that they will fix the traffic problems of the Hobart CBD. It will and can only be solved as a team effort with neighbouring councils and the State government.
01.01.2022 Premier’s very upbeat, and probably with good cause. Always more to be done though.
