18.01.2022 Do you have a favourite park in Paris? Ours would definitely be Parc Monceau, located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris. We visited here regularly during a short time living in Paris. We strolled this beautiful garden, taking in everything it has to offer. We enjoyed glac on a hot day, picnicked, witnessed weddings, watched children play and take pony rides and upon leaving, this is the view we would walk towards. Beautiful! When the world opens up again, if you are visiting Paris definitely include this park in your itinerary. The parc was established by Phillippe dOrlans, Duke of Chartres, a cousin of King Louis XVI. 09.01.2022 We love these La Rochere wine glasses inspired by the Palace of Versailles. Versailles is decorated with an elegant shell and flower motif, putting French grandeur at your fingertips. King Louis XIV used shell patterns both inside and outside the Chateau de Versailles. Inside the palace there is a shell patterned relief on some of the ceilings and outside in shells were used in The Ballroom Grove within the fountains. Our absolute favourite when visiting the palace. We feel like we could all use a little joy in life at the moment, so thought we would share these joyous images of our children joyfully playing in the ground fountain in a village (which unfortunately the name escapes me) on a road trip somewhere between Romazier and Loches, France.

01.01.2022 When travelling Im often surprised by the places that were so unexpected for many reasons. One of those places was Rocamadour, a small clifftop village in south-central France. I knew it would be dramatic set on a clifftop, however, I was genuinely enthralled by the views, the sights, the people, the extremely productive village and history ... it truly intrigued me. It was an extremely hot day on the day our young family visited, which made the steep walk tricky but well worthwhile. A definite must to add to your itinerary if you are in this region of France.
