11.01.2022 NEW DRIVING LAWS COME INTO EFFECT AT MIDNIGHT Drivers throughout Queensland are being reminded new mobile phone laws come into effect across the state tonigh...t. From midnight tonight any driver caught using a mobile phone will be fined $1000 and lose four points from their license. The laws will also affect learner and provisional drivers.
