12.01.2022 Poet honoured with State Funeral! Prof. Oliver Friggieri is Malta's Les Murray, beloved by the islanders and Maltese diaspora as Seamus Heaney is by the Irish. I use the present tense, despite his death on the 21st, as his writing - including numerous novels and literary criticism - lives on. 03.01.2022 The Club will be closed this Friday 26th March for meals, we will open from 5:30pm to 6:30pm for over the counter sales of Pastizzi etc. We will also be closed the following Friday for Good Friday.
