18.01.2022 Weve been using the little internet we have had to collect donations of styling tools and basic haircare and skincare essentials for anyone in our village/comm...unity who have been affected by these devastating fires and need some products to restock with or have lost their hairdryer or styling tool. Our hair and beauty community have sent things from far and wide so these products can help who need it most. Its only something small in the grand scheme but please send us a message or pop in to Super Natural Hair and Beauty @ 366 George Bass Drive Malua bay and say hello, and we will also organise a complimentary shampoo and blowdry for anyone who needs some TLC because the least you can have is healthy, shiny hair and beautiful skin Photo credit Josh Burkinshaw Images

17.01.2022 Together, weve been through a lot lately. This Australia Day, we want to recognise all the men and women who have worked so hard to protect our communities. An...d we want to thank everyone for working together and supporting one another when times are tough. Despite so much tragedy recently, lets take a moment to celebrate the things that make Australia great. Happy Australia Day.

17.01.2022 We had the privilege of meeting Paul yesterday in the park and heard about all of the great work him & his team are already doing. Theyve brought in the big guns & are here to help clear properties, fallen trees, clear out & temporarily fix damaged homes. If you or someone you know who may be in need of this service, I encourage you to speak to Paul 0420 527 760

07.01.2022 URGENT HELP REQUIRED DONATIONS NEEDED PLEASE SHARE We need your urgent help. It is so bad out there with the bushfire crisis on the New South Wales south co...ast and we need your help. So many hectares of bushland and national parks have been burnt destroying the food and habitat requirements of our precious wildlife. Not to mention the devastating loss of a vast number of them. We need to desperately help those that have survived. It really pains my heart. It is just too terrible for words. We will be looking to set up feeding stations immediately. This is where local community members can pick up vital wildlife food and water supplies and put in their front yards and properties in Fire affected areas to help those animals who escaped the fires but now have no food or water to survive over the next 3-4 months until growth reappears. We need urgent donations to help us purchase food. We also need funds for vet bills and medication as we expect animals burnt in the fires to come our way for treatment over the coming weeks and months. This is our urgent call for your help. We need you right now. Our animals need you. We need to raise $50,000 urgently so we can help our precious animals impacted by this emergency. $25 will feed a precious kangaroo joey for a month. Can you answer our call? Can you answer the call of our animals burnt by the fire? Just $5 from each and every one of you would get us there. Its just the cost of your next cup of coffee but one that will help save a live. It will be the best money you have spent all week. We are counting on you. Please donate now: https://wildlife-rescue-south-coast-incorporated.giveeasy.o

06.01.2022 As Malua Bay is very close to our hearts we have decided to lend a helping hand. As you all are aware, this little tight knit community has been devastated by the raging fires on New Years Eve with the loss of 40 homes to date. There is no doubt we have all been touched by the images we have seen through the media but it is still so hard to comprehend the heartache they all are feeling. ... We cant replace their memories but we can all collectively try to ease the burden. We are more than willing to take anything you are wishing to donate. The possibilities of items to donate are endless! Whether it be cleaning out your wardrobe, kitchen cupboards or linen press. Groceries & toiletries Pet food Furniture The possibilities are endless!!! As soon as it is safe to do so, we will be personally delivering every single item to those who are so desperately in need!! If we all contribute 1 act of kindness, collectively we can touch the hearts of those who are so deeply affected!! We thank you all in advance for helping us help others For donations please contact Pat Fiumara 0439 934 083 Stacey Dunn. 0400 401 520 Bec Pearse. 0439 139 799 Franky Fiumara. 0438 203 125 Please help us by sharing this page
