14.01.2022 I’ve been looking for different ways to use up our glut of goats milk and this caramel recipe is a winner. Three litres of milk and four cups of sugar in the slow cooker for a day and a half. Then I stirred through a bit of butter and vanilla paste towards the end. Next time I will make it salted caramel. Just the thing for the sweet tooth in the family for Christmas. P.S. Fresh goats milk makes the frothiest milkshakes.

10.01.2022 Today we farewelled six of our little treasures. They have gone to live with a lovely family who are repeat buyers here at Malurus. We know they will be loved and adored.

10.01.2022 Our beautiful girl, Malurus Razzamatazz P43.75 had a gorgeous little girl of her own late last night. She could not be a more devoted mother. Malurus Pizazz P59.375 was sired by one of our AI buck’s from last year, Zimzalabim. She is just like her dad. Sadly, a little black buck was still born.

09.01.2022 This tiny girl has got to be one of my all time favourites. Malurus Rose-Marie, better known as Rosie. Cute as a button with a sweet but funny personality. Rosie certainly loves cuddles.

08.01.2022 Who says goats hate water? Well, me usually! Two of our little girls have gone to a lovely home on the coast and enjoy a daily walk along with their owner’s dogs. They have decided to swim along with the dogs.
