25.01.2022 Congratulations to Benny Howell (Benjamin Alexander Cameron Howell)! While Benny has long been a first class and professional cricketer in England and Australia, he also played baseball with the Malvern Braves Baseball Club in his spare time. Benny was on a number of teams in the past 10 -12 years, playing Centerfield and often coming on to pitch in relief to shut down the opposition. When you get a chance, get down to the BBL and support the Melbourne Renegades and Benjam...in Alexander Cameron Howell! Credit to Richard Simpson from W. B. 23.01.2022 I am deeply saddened to inform all of you of the sudden passing last Wednesday of our long time club member, Heather Lawler. Heather was a committed and valued member of the Malvern Braves Baseball Club for many years. She was a scorer, volunteer and committee member. She also spent many a Sunday running our club canteen. Anyone who ran into Heather at the canteen remembers her smile and kind nature. We will provide details regarding funeral services when they become a...vailable. 08.01.2022 Expression of interest - Returning to Malvern for Season 2020/2021 Good morning Malvern Baseballers & families Over the last 6 months Baseball Victoria has been working closely with all Melbourne clubs, keeping us up to date with the restrictions that have been set in place for sporting activity.... Baseball Victoria has announced that Junior Baseball (From Teeball to U18s inclusive) will return in late October. Whilst we do not have an exact start date yet, it will be really useful to our planning if all Baseball families can let us know their interest and plans for this season.
