25.01.2022 W O M E N Our mission is to build awareness that YOU matter as well as being ‘mum’. I’ve been having many conversations lately about motivation and priorities. Often we prioritise everything else and we come at the bottom of that list. What we sometimes don’t acknowledge is how we would feel after prioritising ourself and in turn the flow on affect it has. Here are my top 3 tips:... Make the decision. Usually the hardest part, you have to really what to make some changes. Discipline. Once you have made a choice you have to be disciplined enough to do it. Motivation. This is an emotion and comes from actually accomplishing something. How often have you found yourself saying ‘I’m not motivated’ or ‘I need some motivation’? Go back to steps one and two then think about how you will actually feel after you have done it. Then the motivation will follow to hopefully continue How are you putting yourself first this week? #womenshealthweek #awareness
24.01.2022 It will happen Mama... As I watch my baby girl accomplish something, I am always filled with an abundance of emotions. We wait in anticipation for them to reach milestones and watch in angst while they try to achieve something.... Worry can set in, why is my child taking longer than everyone else? Rolling over, sitting up, eating solids, first tooth, crawling, walking, talking... the list is endless and comparisons are a killer. Experiencing the first 4 years of motherhood and witnessing my daughter develop within her capabilities and readiness, has made me realise, no matter how long it can take for something to happen, it does happen. Sometimes it's like someone just flips a switch and all of a sudden it happens without an explanation. So whatever you are waiting for right now, whatever it is, take this as reassurance that it WILL happen Mama See more
24.01.2022 Another classic exercise working the glute max, the largest of the butt muscles. It also uses our core and shoulders as our leg kicks back to keep us stable. Couple of things to concentrate on with this exercise, not letting your lumbar come into the movement like the pic hyperextending the lower back and keeping the pelvis even. Controlled, steady lift with a good squeeze at the top gives us a nice burn Do you like the donkey kick?

21.01.2022 H U M B L E D This photo was 2 years ago, one of our first sessions in the park, no nanny service, just me training a bunch of friends. While studying to become a Postnatal Specialist these ladies put their trust in me with their bodies and fast forward to now, so do over 50 women every week. I am so grateful to have a community of active women who I train face to face and online. They prioritise themselves by committing time each week to exercise. To care not only for t...heir phyiscal but emotional health too. Self love is so freaking important and even though this is what I talk about a lot, recently personally I have let things slide. I've recognised this and reached out to my mentors and closest friends to confide in and learn from. A coach still needs a coach! 15.01.2022 What we are exposed to with different diets, talking about calories and macros can be overwhelming. Eat dairy, don’t eat dairy, go vegan, eat meat... it can be so confusing Our food fuels our mood and I eat intuitively. Knowing how the foods I consume impact my energy levels and how they make me feel after having them. It’s taken a lot of awareness to be able to take this approach. 14.01.2022 B (.) (.) B S They come in all shapes and sizes and will change from adolescence to menopause. Breast lumps, cysts, mastitis and painful breasts can occur in many women. The tissue is affected by hormonal changes associated with menstrual cycle, pregnancy and lactation. They can become tender and lumpy just prior to a menstrual period and less tender and lumpy afterwards. Do you check your breasts? ... It's important you know your own breasts so you can tell if changes occur. Watch out for: New lumps or lumpiness Changes in the shape and colour of your breasts Changes in the nipple and discharge Puckering or dimpling of breast skin Any persistent pain, itching or rash around the breast area If you notice any of the changes above, get checked by your Doc #womenshealthweek #awareness

10.01.2022 Season 4 that’s a wrap for 2020! Taking our face to face classes online during covid and starting back up again, it’s been one hell of a ride! Then when you receive messages like: ‘Signing up was the best thing I could have done’.... reminds me that it is all worth it! 09.01.2022 Hello glutes Here is another variation to the standard glute bridge where we have our feet in a widened position. You will also notice a resistance band placed over the hips to add some load. The thing with our glutes, is one person may feel the activation more with the feet closer together or toes flared. While another person may feel it with a wider stance and feet facing forward. 07.01.2022 The Big C. No one likes this word and cancer of the cervix is the second-most common cancer worldwide. However, it's incidence has dropped significantly in most western countries thanks to cervical screening tests and vaccinations for the human papillomavirus (HPV). This is sexually transmitted and takes many years to develop. Ovarian cancer is difficult to detect early so it is important to know what to look out for: Bloating Frequent urination (with no infection)... Severe back pain Heartburn Pain during intercourse and unexplained bleeding These symptoms can also be a sign of other conditions and it is not normal to have severe pelvic pain with periods. Especially when you miss work or other activities. If ever in any doubt please see your Doc. Are you up to date with your cervical screening test?

01.01.2022 This is one of my fave pics nothing like a bit of extra weight for a 4 point kneeling hover! Nikki has been training with us over a year and knows what her body can do. When performing core stability work to build strength we need to create tension in our tummy.
