24.01.2022 This was so yum! Creamy chicken & sundried tomato pasta. Joel turned his nose up when he saw it (he could smell the sundried tomatoes) but ended up asking for seconds. It could have done with some garnish for my pic but I was too hungry to care...! I would also probably throw some fresh chilli into mine next time. I switched the penne for spirals for something different, and I enjoyed some leftovers for lunch today!! ... 20.01.2022 My poor puppy has had a bad tummy for the last week or so, so she’s on a bland diet of chicken breast and rice, three times a day! She also loves chicken breast as high value treats for training sessions. I absolutely love that I can steam 1.5kgs of chicken breast all at once in the Thermomix, in about 15 minutes flat, utilising the multi layered cooking. I have some in the simmering basket, some in the varoma dish and the rest on the varoma tray. So easy, and beautiful, t...ender chicken as a result. I have also cooked the rice in the basket, and the chicken in the Varoma. 13.01.2022 RISOTTO! It’s probably the Thermomix’s most famous dish. And with good reason. It took me less than ten minutes to do the five steps leading up to this point. Now I walk away and leave it do it’s thing. Peel onion & garlic cloves, and add parsley Chop 3 seconds Add oil & sauté for 2 minutes... Add rice and wine, sauté for 2 minutes Add vegetable stock concentrate and 2L water Set to cook for 18 minutes 100 degrees It’s as simple as that. I’m now packing after school pre-sport snacks, packing a swimming bag, unloading the dishwasher, making a phone call, doing this post, and then might even make a coffee.
