25.01.2022 ***Assistance needed urgently, Chip is fighting for his life*** Goal has been increased tonight Friday night 2nd Sept- Chip is now being rushed to our 24 hour emergency clinic so he can receive care throughout the night and have access to specialists. This little dog is fighting, money shouldn't stand in the way of that, he needs us all to help him. Little Chip who we recently saved from the pound was rushed to the vet this morning bleeding from his mouth and nose. He was ...immediately given an infusion of plasma, IV fluids amongst other medication to stabilize him. The blood is coming from his lungs, the cause is still unknown, the priority is to keep him stable then work out the underlying issue. The lovely Melissa hand crafts these safe, toxic free, vegan friendly 100% soy candles made right here in Melbourne. I only recently learned about the harmful toxins standard scented candles can release so I'm thrilled my house can now smell delightful whilst keeping my fur bubs safe from breathing in nasties. 23.01.2022 Hi friends look at me! It’s me Angel (now Ally) and I have a lovely mum of my very own now and a whole family of humans to love! Living in a comfy warm house with walks and cuddles and company is so wonderful, I’m really making up for lost time. My new family has been very patient with me, it took me some time to settle in, they stood by me and I really feel at home now. I have some people to thank for their part in the journey to my pawfect home- Thank you all the generous humans who donated money so my rescue group could get help for my hips, thank you kind Amy for all the walks, guidance and love while I was living in the boarding kennels and so much thanks to my new family for giving me this new life. I hope everyone adopts or fosters so more homeless furries like me can feel this sense of belonging and joy. Love Ally xo

18.01.2022 We lost Chip. He fought so hard to stay with us but his little body couldn't go on. We take small comfort knowing his time with us was full of love and fun. Our hearts are broken, he deserved for this next chapter in his life to be with his forever family. Thank you to everyone who so generously donated, we used every dollar and more in the hope he would pull through. There are no words for the courage of his carer Amy who was with him every step of the way, from picking him up from the pound to saying goodbye. 15.01.2022 Hi friends remember me? I left the pound with Missy a while back with the rescue humans and I have some exciting news to share with you.... yep you guessed it I've been adopted!!! I'm a timid soul, I've not been treated well in my life so I was very fortunate to be welcomed in by such understanding humans. They have been so patient with me, they've given me the peaceful, secure home I so desperately needed to build my confidence. I also have a bestie of my own her name is Ti...nkerbelle she's a cat, that's us hanging out on our deck we really hit it off! I can't thank my family enough for giving me this opportunity, I can see how much effort they are putting into guiding me, helping me put on weight and showing me the world isn't a scary place and I'm so truly grateful. It's a pretty amazing feeling to finally belong somewhere, I hope I will make them proud. Your contribution will go directly to rescuing a pound bub in need this winter. Pound Release fees, vet care and good food really adds up, this is a wonderful help. With the current cold snap, don't forget to rug your furries up everyone! 08.01.2022 ***What a difference a day can make!*** Hi everyone, we had no idea when we left the pound yesterday how much our lives would change. We are so grateful the pound told the rescue humans about us. Today we enjoyed a lovely country walk, we think the Yarra Valley is a pretty nice place. Lots of smells to take in, fresh air and the chance to stretch our legs in nature what a great Sunday it was! We could get used to weekend adventures! We're both still feeling pretty confused, ...we havn't had the best lives so far and need extra meals for a while - our last humans didn't feed us much. We are determined to forget that sadness though, we know things are really looking up for us now we've been rescued. We heard a very kind family donated the money needed to pay for our training sessions & expenses. We don't know you Natoli family but we love you for your kindness, thank you very much for this gift you've given us. 08.01.2022 Hi everyone, remember me? The Mamma's saved me from the pound a couple of months ago. While I was in foster care I was fortunate enough to meet a whole family of humans and then I got to go home with them! It was all so new and sometimes scary because I hadn't been part of a family before but they made me feel so safe and very welcome. I really can't believe my luck, I have my own yard now with toys too, I go to school, walks every day and I get to follow MY family all aroun...d the house its just so much fun! I want to thank my kind family for being so patient with me, there are so many things they're teaching me, I know I can be naughty at times I don't mean to be. I can't explain how good it feels to be unconditionally loved. Thank you for changing my life I love being in your family. 07.01.2022 Happy Friday Everyone!!! It’s been a little while since I left the pound and wow has my life changed. The rescue humans introduced me to a very kind family I just loved meeting them, then I got a big surprise when they came back a few days later and took me to their house and the best part..I’ve been living there ever since!! So now I have a family of my very own can you believe it! They love me, take me on walks, give me yummy food, include me in everything and I even have... a small human who is my best friend her name is Taiah, we could cuddle all day she's the best! Sometimes I think I’m dreaming because my life is so wonderful now. I’m going to school soon too and my family said they have adopted me and they love me and I’ll be safe and important forever. Yay!!!! I really hope my pound neighbours get the opportunity to feel as happy as I do. 06.01.2022 Happy Wednesday to us! We were fortunate enough to leave the pound today with 2 very kind Mamma humans, they bundled us into the car and told us today is the start of wonderful for us! This was made possible by another very kind human who donated the money to pay for our release fees. Keep an eye out for our profiles we will each be looking for our forever homes. The Mamma's would dearly love to help others like us asap which takes money so please consider us when fundraising opportunities come up at your work, school, club etc every dollar helps. 05.01.2022 Hi friends, remember me? It sure has been a while! I came in from a NSW pound way back in Dec of last year, I was all bones and pretty scared of the world. A kind lady called Steph from Stellar Pet Services drove me and 5 other rescued friends all the way to Melbourne for Mamma Paws. When I arrived I met my foster mum, she welcomed me in and loved me from that moment on. I had never known love before that day or good food, she looked after me for this whole year until I was... ready for my forever family. I can’t thank her enough for her patience and commitment. Guess what? I now have parents of my very own who love me and take me on adventures and they think I’m really funny too apparently i'm a big goofball they say I've made their family complete I like hearing that. I can’t believe how amazing my life is now, what a difference time can make when humans really care. Thank you so much to my mum and dad for adopting me, for giving me such a comfy, loving home you are awesome. I love you both and I think you are funny too :) My foster Mamma Rangi, I will love you forever, the way you stepped up for me you were truly my angel. 04.01.2022 Hi everyone remember me? Benny here! I felt like a very lucky guy when I got to leave the pound a few weeks ago and go to live with my foster Mamma Jess and foster siblings, I loved being part of a family. But having been so attention starved during my young life I couldn’t get enough in my foster home! Mamma would say to me every day Benny it’s okay you little attention hog, you are loved now but let the others have some cuddles too! I would push everyone out of the way be...cause this attention thing was so new and amazing! Then I got to meet a few different families at the park, they were all so kind and lovely to me. While we drove home Mamma said this is going to be one hard decision little man! We chatted about it and decided that I should do an adoption trial with the family who had the big dog because I was very taken by him and them too. And guess what? They have now adopted me!!! Even though I’m such a needy little man, they fell in love with me and they have been training me, I go to school now too and the big dog is now MY big brother forever his name is Darcy I love him so much I follow him everywhere he knows about everything he’s so smart & fun! So now I have a whole family of humans to keep me company and a mum of my very own can you believe it! I’m so happy and so grateful for my new family, they are putting in the time and patience to show me the way. A very kind lady who I havn’t met paid for my neighbour and I to leave the pound, her name is Sabina I’d like to thank her so much for her generosity. Biggest thanks to my new family for giving me this wonderful life, I’m so glad you picked me. I hope all my pound neighbours get the same magical opportunity I’ve been given.
