24.01.2022 EN ROUTE | Massive few months of preparation for these young footballers who just had their last training session before they fly to Osaka to compete in the ...Yanmar Cup. It will be a big test to play against the very best in Asia and our players couldnt be more ready for the challenge. Massive thank you to all the players who helped us prepare each week, Zenon and Angelo are very appreciative of your commitment to giving our players some tough opposition. 20.01.2022 One day, at the doctors surgery, I met a lady in a wheelchair. She had polio and was 60 years old. I wish I could describe the disgust she had towards anti vaxxers. Theres a comment on this post that says something like "one hour of googling will tell you the dangers of vaccines". Surely, this says everything about anti-vaxxers. One hour versus years and years of science and research? Ill take vaccination for my kids, thanks. Meanwhile, weve eradicated life threatening diseases through science and because we are now in this first world position the anti vaxxer googlers are preaching - literally preaching - the unsubstantiated dangers of vaccines. Amazing.

11.01.2022 OPEN TRIALS | Calling all advanced U13 and U14 players to trial for an exclusive program run by CFA Head Coach and former professional footballer Zenon Caravell...a taking place in Term 4 + Term 1. Open to all players born in 2003 + 2004 only. A reminder that you *must* register your player via email to participate in the trials in Week 9 - we will not be trialling any players that do not pre-register and turn up on the day. The U14 Advanced program is designed for all players serious about their football and individual development with the following criteria being assessed at the trials: Technique/skill Expected to have and show an advanced level in all areas Fitness - Expected to demonstrate that they are able to sustain a high intensity 60 minute session Attitude: How a player reacts to his coach/peers To register for a place at the trials or if you have any questions please email [email protected]. Trials will take place in Week 9 - day/time TBA.
