25.01.2022 Good evening all :) Popping in to say hi, see how everyone is going and let you know we are doing well! Baby B turned 5 months old this week and Miss C is having a 17th birthday tomorrow, so it's been pretty flat out! I've been working on some new patterns, starting with some matching pieces to go with gowns that are already on the blog and I can't wait to get some of them completed and typed up. I think the aim this year will be rounding out single pieces into sets.... On a totally other note, I've come to ask a favour. My Mr J has been working super hard on his schools fundraiser. They are raising money for a new play space for the prep to year 2 kiddoes, and given the school is 150 years old, it's not surprising this is the next area to be updated. He's just $20 shy of his goal now, and with only 3 days to go I've kinda run out of kind family and friends to ask No pressure, but maybe if you have a spare dollar or two you might consider helping him out? He's been doing crazy drawings thanking everyone for their donations, it's just too cute and he is so excited for Colour Run day on Wednesday! Here's the link. Like I said though, totally no pressure! https://app.schoolfundraising.com.au//jackson-5ec44180-8ec Anything else? Of course! Not only have I been working on new patterns but I've been working on the blog too, and the updated directory should be released soon (probably next month at this stage) I'm pretty excited about that because it's been an absolute mess of bad links and chaos for a good year now, it's really time to get it sorted! The other thing I want to start playing with is more dolls clothes! The Barbie stuff has always been a big hit, so I want to do some more of that, but also clothing for other dolls, so the items are sized exactly for them. It gets super frustrating when your little one is just itching for new doll clothes but nothing seems to fit right! I'd love to start with My Generation and Baby Born, and maybe Cabbage Patch, who knows :D Do you crochet dolls clothes? What types? Well, that's me out for the evening. I hope everyone is having a wonderful day, maybe drop a pic below of what you've been crafting lately? I'd love to see <3
23.01.2022 Hi peeps! Miss me? It's been 4 months since baby B joined our family and wow has it been a busy 4 months. He is such a great little bubba, and we've all been soaking up the snuggles and cuteness. He is growing well and is a pretty chill relaxed baby which has been wonderful I've been on a bit if an extended break, I wasn't planning on 4 months off but I deffinatly needed them. Now I'm recharged and ready to pick up the hook and get creative again. I'm also going to sink s...ome hours and finally FINALLY tidy up the mess on the blog, because the coding got all whack and it's just chaos in the directories. Before I start diving headfirst into the yarn tubs, I want to open it up to you guys. What patterns would you like to see? Drop me some ideas and I'll see what I can do. Doesn't necessarily need to be preemie related either :) Here's a photo from a recent family day out so this post doesn't get lost Love you guys, can't wait to start creating again! Show me what you've been making lately yeah?

15.01.2022 I feel like I need to give you guys an update on this year, and what the next 12 months likely holds for the page/blog. I know this year has been a stretch for everyone. No one expected back in January that we'd be about to walk into the crazy the world has been dealing with. I'd say it's a fair call that last year, no one expected to live through a pandemic like this in our lifetimes. It was something for the history books, not real life. The other thing I didn't expect to ...happen, much less at the start of a global crisis, was to find out that I was expecting a baby. Shocked. Surprised. Terrified. Those emotions summed it up. Pregnancy after loss is terrifying. It is a horrible bunch of emotions. It was impossible for me to concentrate on anything even remotely preemie or angel related while being so scared that my 6 angels would become 7. It took a long time to move from "if" to "when" Anyone that has walked this road knows exactly what I'm talking about, and how stressful it is. You know the odds. You have hope, but you also expect the worst. It's a weird bunch of feelings to have. Yet, here we are, nearing November, and with just a few weeks to go before our little rainbow is due. I didn't want to put anything here earlier because for a long time, I was so sure it would all go wrong. That lovelies, is the reason for my absence this year. It will be the reason updates and patterns, while I do plan to release some and work on the blog coding, won't have a time schedule for the next 12 months. It'll be a year of "It'll happen when it gets there" I know you will all understand <3 By all means though, keep sharing with me! Keep posting photos, asking questions, stopping by. Seeing the things you have all made from my patterns makes my heart sing! The next chapter for us, well, it will be just as crazy and emotion filled, but also full of joy, happiness and love. This is truly our rainbow after the storm, and I can't wait!

I'll be in and out as time permits, but for now, I'm just soaking in the baby snuggles and enjoying this amazing little being You can bet I'll be back with some patterns in the new year. 08.01.2022 Good morning all! Well, here it is! The 30th and final day for this years IBGHD! It's been a different one, thats for sure, but a good different I think :) ... Before I go ahead and share today's pattern I want to take a minute to thank everyone for all their support and love, and most importantly for the amazing work you have all done by joining in and making so many lovely hearts. I can't tell you just how special and important these seemingly little projects are to families across the world. To know someone somewhere cared about your baby as much as you do, it's something pretty incredible. I mentioned at the start of this month that this year we'll be using a form to keep a tally of the hearts. This is to help ease the work for our amazing volunteers. So when you are all finished and ready to post off your hearts, please stop by this page here: https://forms.gle/fqYA7Kv6feXVk2eP7 and fill in the form. Like last year I'll be making a video with community photos, so if you would like to be included please email me photos of your hearts (either a few single ones or as a group, Im ok with either) to [email protected] I want to have the video up before the end of October, so if you are going to email photos please do so before the 20th Oct. A reminder that we have 4 amazing charities this year accepting hearts, their addresses will be at the end of this post. I guess that's all folks! I've seen some amazing photos already and some incredible tally's. You all sure know how to smash a drive! Well done, and thankyou, from the very bottom of my heart, thankyou. Today's pattern can be found here: https://mammathatmakes.blogspot.com//picot-edge-heart-day- Your charities for posting hearts for the IBGHD 2020 are Australia Chance's Clothes Project c/- Cowra Neighbourhood Centre 15 Vaux St Cowra NSW 2794 Europe Sleeping Beauties 29 chilton avenue Sittingbourne Kent ME10 4TB United States Anencephaly Hope 304 N E Street Louisiana, Missouri 63353 USA Project Robby P.O.
