24.01.2022 The MAMS Group is proud to support this Sunday’s virtual Walk 2 Cure Brain Cancer. This is a cause very close to the heart of one of our team members, Innisfail based Brayden Huey, who earlier this year lost his Cousin to brain cancer. On Sunday, Brayden will be walking with his beautiful partner Laura in honor of his Cousin and to raise much needed funds for Brain Cancer research. ... To support Brayden in his fundraising efforts, this week you will see donation tins in all of our MAMS Group Container Refund Points - so please consider donating a few cents of your refund to this cause. On Friday 25th September, the MAMS Group will donate 1 cent from every container returned at any MAMS Group site towards Braydens fundraising for Cure Brain Cancer. So if you’ve been collecting and planning to cash in your containers - Friday is your day! Please give Brayden your support as he works to honor his cousins and all those that are fighting Cancer. https://www.facebook.com/curebraincancer/

19.01.2022 Tidying your yard in preparation for summer bbq’s and outdoor entertaining for the warmer months can be fun. But make sure you are removing your green waste the right way - by taking it to your closest transfer station. When your garden waste decomposes in a landfill, it can emit harmful gases such as methane, which is a harmful greenhouse gas and has the potential to cause fires. ... *Please note green waste is not accepted at Murray Upper Transfer Station.

We remain committed to the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle and will continue to operate the Buyback Tip Shop at Stoters Hill from Tuesday to Friday from 10am to 4pm.

07.01.2022 Are you ok? It's not always obvious that someone is struggling - and we sometimes need to be reminded to trust our gut instinct and dig a bit deeper. By starting a conversation and commenting on the changes you’ve noticed, you could help that family member, friend or workmate open up.

05.01.2022 Want an activity for the weekend? Try upcycling! Upcycling is when old products are changed or modified and are given a second life turning them into a new product. With just a little imagination and perhaps a coat of paint or some new hardware, an old cabinet, table or chair can get new life as something fresh and unique!
