12.01.2022 Opportunity for Glen Eira businesses in 2016: Develop a new website or database with the help of student IT projects Expressions of interest are now being sought for the 2016 Glen Eira BusEd Program IT projects with Monash and Swinburne universities... Glen Eira’s BusEd Program is continuing to link students from Monash University and Swinburne University with Glen Eira businesses, to build websites and databases, develop software solutions or analyse their technology requirements. Improved business technology can help businesses to develop by: supporting e-commerce and online marketing strategies; simplifying business processes; enhancing interaction with clients; and, improving the way businesses manage information. The projects are a collaborative effort between client and students and are supervised by university staff. A variety of project scopes may be eligible ranging from basic e-commerce websites to complex software engineering projects. There is no cost to Glen Eira businesses to participate in the Program just a commitment to invest the necessary time to allow for the best possible outcome. The projects commence in March, with the Monash projects running until early November and the Swinburne projects running until early June. If you would like to apply for a project or to discuss your project idea, contact BusEd Program Co-ordinator Sandy Brouvalis on 9524 3333.
