13.01.2022 Just a little bit of small hail here yesterday. It's awful seeing all the photos thismorning of the damage yesterday. Soo many storms! Lucerne is ready to cut as soon as we get a big enough break in the weather

12.01.2022 Forage Sorghum 4x4 rounds. $75/bale. Forage sorghum with a small percentage of cowpea baled before the seed reached milk stage. Shedded or stored under tin.

10.01.2022 Look what we found nested in our lucerne. There was two eggs and one chick when we first saw them. The third egg never hatched but these two look pretty cosy

07.01.2022 *SOLD OUT* Rhodes and natural grass hay 4x4 rounds. $50/bale Baled off a paddock of improved pasture, mainly rhodes grass with some bluegrass, green panic black speargrass and legumes throughout.... *These bales are on a property 2mins from ours and aren't shedded, so they are getting weathered from the dewey mornings. Scratch off the surface and the bales are good throughout.

06.01.2022 I'm sure anyone that has been on farm has met Russ! Sidekick to our munchkins, gun musterer and lover of all the attention. Russ likes to get a little too close to your tyres so make sure you watch out for him when coming to collect hay

01.01.2022 About us: Our little family of four moved to the North Burnett in 2019. It was a dream of ours to own our own farm and we couldn't think of a better place to do it than in the foot hills of Mt Walsh. It has been a rough start, beginning a cropping/hay business in the midst of a drought, but we have wholeheartedly fallen in love with our little place and have big plans for the future. We are passionate about farming and dedicated to sustainable management, aiming to improve our resources rather than deplete them.
