24.01.2022 Day three is underway at GEMFEST - FESTIVAL OF GEMS come and find us in the hall

23.01.2022 We have been busy getting ready for Gemfest. Just done a cast, one in 18ct Gold, 9ct Gold & Sterling Silver.

21.01.2022 ARTISAN TRADERS AT GEMFEST A new and exciting addition to Gemfest this year are Artisan Traders. In a world of mass produced goods, it is always great ...to appreciate creative products, handmade by skilled artisans. These trades have been engaged to show their passion, demonstrate, tell their story and create new works over the 4 days of the event. Their creations will be sold by progressive auction with the highest bid by Sunday afternoon taking away bespoke pieces made at the show. Dont miss their talent and spirit and see first hand these trades at work. ARTISANS INCLUDE- JASE MOORE- Jase will be creating Sapphire Gemfields inspired welding works with metal. LANA VIKULOV- Lana will be creating pottery and ceramic works fired by 16th Century Raku method at the show. MATT BIRD- Matt will be carving timber creations throughout the show. Matt will also be carving at Rubyvale Flats on Saturday Evening. JORDY CASTILLEJOS- Known for his grain silo paintings, Jordy will be applying his air brush talents to various objects and panels. CLINTON McDONALD- Blacksmith Clinton will be creating with forge and anvil. FORGE KNOX- Forge Knox will be creating knives forged in steel. CINDY KELLY- Bespoke Gem Cutter, Cindy, will be faceting the daily entrance ticket sapphire prizes live at the show. Other trades will be working and demonstrating at Gemfest and will be included in the next post under Attractions and Traders. Entertainment post will also follow.
