23.01.2022 Headland are playing live tomorrow night on Radio Nambucca 2NVR 105.9FM's Studio 3 Program. Streaming live from 6pm - 8pm on 2NVR 105.9FM If you're in the area we'd love to see you at the 2NVR studios in Rodeo Drive Tewinga. The event is set up like a small restaurant with tables and chairs for visitors, many of whom bring along some food and drink to help enjoy the evening.... 20.01.2022 Headland are playing this Saturday night 9th July at The Amble Inn in Corindi. 7pm to 10pm. Jigs, reels, hornpipes, old Irish songs and Aussie bush songs. Lots of fun! :) We're looking forward to it very much and we hope to see you there if you're in the area...

10.01.2022 Headland are playing this Saturday August 20 at the Clarence Valley Camp Oven Festival in Nymboida. - 4pm on the John Spencer Memorial Stage - 6pm 'til late for the Bush Dance in the main hall... 10.01.2022 Last night I enjoyed watching Bettany Hughes present the episode of 'Genius of the Ancient World' on Confucius. I'd not realised before the emphasis Confucius p...laced on music. Today I went looking for further information and found some marvellous quotes. Here's a couple: To educate somebody, you should start from poems, emphasize on ceremonies, and finish with music. - Tai Bo of Lun Yu Music produces a kind of pleasure which human nature cannot do without. - The Book of Rites Also found this pdf, "Confucius on Music Education", which I thought a good (and reasonably succinct) read...
