22.01.2022 Wishing all our wonderful customers, and our fabulous team, a very happy Australia Day tomorrow. We'll be taking the day off tomorrow too - apologies that we won't be serving up our fish 'n chips, but it's time for some family time and to appreciate this amazing place we call home.

15.01.2022 We are closed on Easter Sunday. Apologies for any inconvenience, but we wish everyone a healthy and happy Easter - and we'll see you all for fish 'n chips as usual from Tuesday 14 April.

13.01.2022 Mother's Day this year is shaping up to be pretty memorable. I don't think I'm the only mom who has some pretty conflicting feelings about parenting at the moment: I'm revelling in the slower pace of our days and the family time we've been enjoying; I'm enjoying the opportunity to get more involved in my children's learning; I'm developing the ability to tune out the incessant squibbling (sibling squabbling) but I'm worried I'm not doing that fast enough to prevent serious in...jury; and I'm seriously tired of the endless parade of glasses/bowls/plates/tupperwares serving as glasses/bowls/plates/snack tubs and paintbrush holders in every room of the house. I also really need to finish that damn puzzle so we can have our dining room table back But just in time for Sunday, the outlook is good: restrictions on social gatherings might be eased a bit more, the weather's looking glorious and while times are tough, I know many of us are enjoying a new perspective. So this Mother's Day, we're really looking forward to having you round at our place to celebrate being able to get out a little bit (while still playing it safe of course!), and giving you a break.

13.01.2022 Raining cats 'n dogs has put a stop to our fish 'n chips this weekend: a leak in our ceiling means it's not safe to be open for business. A huge apology to all our wonderful customers. We're going to miss seeing you today. We'll keep you posted on when we're able to reopen.

12.01.2022 To open, or not to open this weekend? Frankly folks, we're not too sure. We applaud everyone's great work in sticking to the social distancing measures and the impact it's having. We also want everyone to have a happy and healthy Easter. At the same time we've had a few enquiries as to whether we'll be open or not. At this stage, the plan is to be open on Good Friday from 12 - 2:30pm and again 4 - 7pm. But our best advice is to please check out our hours on FB or Google or give us a call to see if we're open. Don't forget that you're able to order and pay by phone - we'll bring your order out to you too. Delivery is available through Uber Eats.
