25.01.2022 Serpentine Medical Centre will be closed over the Easter Weekend, Friday the 10th to Monday 13th. 12.01.2022 Hi, my name is Kara. I'm the practice manager of the medical centre. Some of you may have noticed that my belly is growing as I am 22 weeks pregnant. (No I haven't been eating too many ice creams lol).I thought I'd share my story as this is an IVF pregnancy. I am 43 years and am currently 22 weeks pregnant with our first baby. He is an IVF Baby, so very special. We tried ivf 11 years ago doing 7 rounds with no success. We thought we will give it one last try both being in o...ur 40's. We went through 2 cycles with no success and was ready to give up, but because I had 2 embryos frozen I couldn't waste them. One embryo didn't survive the defrosting process and this one stuck. So glad we went ahead. Now loving my belly that I've waited so long to have. Lol. 12.01.2022 Today we had to say goodbye to our nurse Michelle. Lucky we were so busy we didn't even think about it till she had to go home lol. We will miss you so much and want to thank you for all your hard work. I know alot of the patients are going to miss you too, we all wish you all the best for your next venture. 07.01.2022 Dear all, I wish to inform you all that Dr Nick has decided to depart our wonderful team. This is unfortunate and I appreciate how disappointed patients may feel in the short term. ... I take your concerns to heart and I assure you all that I do not take your loyalty nor your continued care for granted. I trust that the community knows I have only ever acted and invested in the best interest of our magnificent town. Much has been sacrificed over the last six years Nevertheless, our medical centre will continue to thrive and offer new services . We have two wonderful and dedicated doctors available five days a week. We hope to extend to a six day practice open for longer hours as our third Doctor joins the team in July of this year. Dr Nigel Farrier brings a wealth of experience to our team and we have been joined by the the wonderful Dr Anita Jogewar.
