23.01.2022 This is a lovely ( and funny ) entry in out Guest book from a 10 year old who stayed there in December ........ ( typed up from verbatim from a hand written note that would not fit in the Guest Book ) ........... Thank you for letting us stay here. Its a very nice house and a pleasure to stay in. Im a ten year old and my mum wouldnt let me write in the guest book. Im not a very good drawer but I like drawing and the only thing I think Im good at drawing is an eye so sor...ry , I have to leave ..... okay Im back Im going to draw and eye and I hope you like it ....see on the back .. 23.01.2022 A recent review from one of our Guests ................ Unique getaway Fiona C.Perth, Western Australia... Gorgeous character cottage on the banks of the Murray river. Had a fantastic, fun and relaxing week with our family. With the excellent little cafe opposite, it was ideal to paddle across in the cottages 2 kayaks, even swim across or 30 seconds in our boat! Feasted on freshly caught crabs and spent lazy days swimming, reading and chilling out in the recliners nicely located on the wonderful gazebo over the water, watching the passing river traffic and the stunning variety of bird and fish life. An absolute treat. Hard to leave at the end of the week, but cherished memories of those days will be forever treasured in my heart ...................

" We just love this place, the house is lovely , cosy , clean and welcoming, we love to sit by the river watching the world go buy, you can drop a line and have a fish, or crabbing if its the season, its a little piece of paradise !!!!!!! or simply do absolutely nothing and chill with a glass of wine and a pizza as it now has a pizza oven ! winning . ."

12.01.2022 A NICE REVIEW FROM A RECENT GUEST .................... An amazing warm home , we celebrated our dedication ceremony with our closest friends and family here and IT WAS PERFECT.The house has a beautiful cottage feel with fully furnished living and sleeping, lounge, tv and wifi a kitchen equipped with all needed to entertain and feed a tribe. The rear verandah with its draping vine leant itself to our ceremony photos perfectly. Even our dog had an amazing time protecting the rear yard from intruding ducks and the like. The 6 kids all had plenty to do wether paddling a canoe across river to fetch milk from the cafe or fishing from the private enclosed boat house. And fish they caught one after another.A beautiful family holiday home, we will book again. Steve and Donna

09.01.2022 Very nice review from our Guest who just left today.... Just had an amazing weekend @Mandurah river front holiday rental with fam and friends. Care takers Ken and Karen were so welcoming and lovely. The house is well set up with everything you need! Clean tidy and bursting with character!!! Its the best location on the river and so beautiful sitting on the lawn watching the boats go by.. kids had a blast kayaking crabbing swimming and fishing. Highly recommend and absolutely looking forward to coming back again!
