25.01.2022 In our worship last Sabbath, Pr Douw gave an inspired reminder about our prayer life. Remember, "Prayer is the opening of the heart to God as to a friend. ... When Jesus was upon the earth, He taught His disciples how to pray. He directed them to present their daily needs before God, and to cast all their care upon Him. And the assurance He gave them that their petitions should be heard, is assurance to us also." Steps to Christ 93.3

25.01.2022 It is really great that the mothers of children attending Mandurah Childrens Sabbath School have expressed a need for a mothers group for the purpose of fellowship, support and Bible Study! We are meeting on Mondays at 10.00am in the Hall at Mandurah church. We will have a little time of sharing, then 40 minutes in Bible study, and finish with a popcorn or conversation prayer session. Our first series of 7 lessons is on How to live a life of excellence in all dimensions and it looks pretty good! All women welcome.

We invite you to pray "in your closet and to pray with ... your church family. Our worship service will be a season of praise and prayer. Join us again at the church at 5pm for further prayer for an hour, and closing Sabbath. 19.01.2022 JOY TO THE WORLD, THE LORD IS COME (HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS) - Although the Creator and King of the Universe was not born on Dec. 25th (rather sometime in Sept/Oct), we join the world at this time to remember the birth of Jesus Christ: "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name JESUS, for He will save His people from their sins." (hope of salvation) - Matthew 1:21..... "Behold, the virgin shall be with Child, and bear a Son, and the shall call His name IMMANUEL, which is translated, God with us." (God in the flesh) - Matthew 1:23.... May your hearts be filled with the joy and peace that the Saviour has promised. Receive Him into your life, and His promise will be sure. A very happy birthday remembrance of Jesus Christ wishes to you all!

17.01.2022 Church family, thank you for remembering our fundraising project beginning this Sabbath. We had to urgently replace the carpet in the church hall, and the new flooring does look great! But now we need to raise $3,000 towards paying for it (it cost a lot more). Thank you for digging deep. We will keep you informed on our progress towards the goal! You can give more than once over the weeks to come. We are so blessed to have such a wonderful church facility, but everything on this earth deteriorates over time so we need to give for practical things as well as evangelistic projects. Thanks for helping!

17.01.2022 We have a treat for everyone attending worship with us this Sabbath, Dec 24th @11.00 am. The children will be presenting a Nativity play! And we get to enjoy more of those special Nativity songs, as we contemplate our God coming to live and die for us! Amazing Grace! Plus - Tim and Wendy will be visiting us all the way from Cambodia where they operate a faith-based orphanage and school, among other projects, and will give us a quick update!

15.01.2022 "EACH ONE REACH ONE" (an achievable and realistic, personal and church goal for 2016) --- If each church member committed a portion each day/each week: (1) to make a list of 3-5 people and pray for them (unchurched and/or former church members - friends, family, etc) (2) to intentionally connect with them (befriend socially, home hospitality, church socials, etc) and (3) to be intentional in sharing your faith with them (personal testimony, Bible study, outreach inv...ite) --- then we can grow Gods kingdom in doubling our church membership in 1-2 years. Its ACHIEVABLE and REALISTIC if you believe (Philip. 4:13) Make this the centre of your missional focus in Sabbath School groups, midweek small groups/prayer meetings, local church in 2016! See more
