20.01.2022 First day of school 2021! Welcome back everyone

18.01.2022 Relationships: We are committed to each other, caring for and protecting the MBC community. #MBC #fridayvalues #relationships

16.01.2022 We live in a world where there is more information available than there has ever been before, and much of it is accessible with the mere touch of the button (or, perhaps more accurately, with the tap of a few keyboard keys). With so much information at our fingertips, a major question arises: how do we know that what we’re reading is credible, reliable and accurate?

16.01.2022 Friendship is such an important aspect of children’s lives. It gives them a sense of belonging, builds self-esteem and develops social skills. As parents, we try to encourage great friendships. But just like the relationships we have as adults, there are bound to be ups and downs in the relationships our children have.

13.01.2022 Parents and educators are always faced with the challenge to keep students engaged in learning and to enable them to become lifelong learners. We can assist in fostering this learning by exposing students to as many different learning opportunities as possible, allowing them to challenge themselves to explore the multitude of pathways that are available.

13.01.2022 Stage two of the Master Plan will deliver a state-of-the-art STEAM Centre providing our students with outstanding integrated and collaborative learning spaces that encompass Science, Technology, Engineering, The Arts and Mathematics. Stage two has commenced construction with completion planned for late 2021 to early 2022. For more information follow this link to our website: https://www.mbc.wa.edu.au/about-us/college-master-plan/

12.01.2022 On behalf of everyone at Mandurah Baptist College we would like to wish you a Happy New Year. May 2021 bring new happiness, new goals, new achievements and a lot of new inspirations. Watch this video to see the message from Rob Gratton, our Primary School Principal.

10.01.2022 It has been wonderful to see our students celebrated for their hard work and achievements in 2020. Congratulations to Bianca Van der Walt and Joshua Peckover for receiving an ATAR of 98.85. https://www.mandurahmail.com.au//atar-students-do-mandura/

09.01.2022 Integrity: We are committed to knowing and doing what is right and behaving in a way that sets an example for the community around us. #MBC #fridayvalues #integrity

09.01.2022 It's Throwback Thursday! We've been digging through the archives for some old images and came across this one. Can you spot someone you recognise? #ThrowbackThursday

08.01.2022 Welcome back to school for 2021! It was lovely to see all the students’ excited and smiling faces, even though they couldn’t see ours! We are looking forward to a year filled with wonderful opportunities to learn and to grow together. Thank you for you cooperation and support with the current COVID-19 Transitional Restrictions for Perth and Peel, as we all keep our students and our community safe.

06.01.2022 It’s completely normal for children to be a little bit chaotic they’ll forget books at home, they’ll leave things on the floor, and they’ll finish projects late. However, it’s essential that they develop organisational skills as soon as possible so that it becomes second nature when they grow up. There are many effective ways for you to encourage your child to be a little more responsible. Here are a few ways to help your child get and stay organised.

06.01.2022 At Mandurah Baptist College, we have been blessed with a state of the art, purpose built Early Learning Centre. However, it is not only the learning environment that lends itself to the quality we strive for it is in the programs that we offer. Our Early Childhood team consider the roles of the child as learner and their family as partners in education and endeavour to reflect these founding principles in our programs. So what does quality Early Childhood Education actually look like at MBC?

06.01.2022 If you knew 2020 was going to happen, just how much pasta and toilet paper would you have bought? Maybe you’d have bought stocks in Pfizer? Maybe you’d have just made a few better choices in general. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing! If you want to read the rest of this blog, click on the image below:

03.01.2022 A sneak peek at what working from home has looked like for MBC staff this week. Whilst our 'furry friends' may miss us, we are definitely looking forward to seeing you all back at school on Monday! Keep an eye out for today's 4.00pm update for some important information.

01.01.2022 Excellence honours our calling and we are therefore committed to best practice and creating value for the MBC community. #MBC #fridayvalues #excellence
