24.01.2022 I bought my son a fridge for Christmas. -I can’t wait to see his face light up when he opens it.

23.01.2022 Get To Know Your Local Fridgie, part 3. Since Tim cant manage to come up with an entertaining story about ground source heat pumps (to go with our prev post) Ive found this entertaining photo instead for you to feast your eyes on. This is around the time Tim was finishing up his technical training and we took a trip to New Zealand (more to come of that later). #dadjeans #brightwhitesneakers

22.01.2022 A bit different to a lot of the other spaces Tim works in! Doing some equipment servicing at a primary school.

21.01.2022 Making sure those cones dont go anywhere.

20.01.2022 Why was the HVAC technician so organised? -Because he had all his ducts in a row.

20.01.2022 Helping out the boss today!

19.01.2022 FOUR quotes out today :)

18.01.2022 I bought my son a fridge for Christmas. -I cant wait to see his face light up when he opens it.

18.01.2022 Dad jokes - day 2.

17.01.2022 Not the easiest way to get a good view - but its a good view.

16.01.2022 Im getting the hang of these lame jokes

15.01.2022 Woah! Didnt realise it had been so long since our last post. Starting to feel like the old rellie at the get together that still thinks its 1995...

15.01.2022 On a long awaited holiday and cant even get away from it. Sitting in Changi airport and Tim mentions the noise coming from a display cabinet, "They have a faulty fan". . Cant wait for the inevitable comments on AC installations. If Im lucky maybe hell rate Bali vs Phuket... #tradieholiday

14.01.2022 Starting em in the business young! Tim got the boys to help with the pad replacement on our Evaporative. They were in charge of rubbish containment ;)

14.01.2022 The excitement of a new tool bag.

13.01.2022 How does one make posts about refrigeration interesting? Asking for a friend.

12.01.2022 Here we go again!

12.01.2022 Had a go at creating my own meme.... makes me laugh every time.

11.01.2022 By not posting for 2 months it gets people really interested in your page right??#FacebookFail Anyway - I now present you with: Get To Know Your Local Fridgie, part 4.... I left you off last time with us having travelled to New Zealand. Well, during our time there we loved it so much we decided to move there. It wasnt quite so simple as that -- no, actually the decision to move WAS that simple, but I wont bore you with the paperwork side. At any rate, we moved to NZ in 2005. Tim started to work for a local firm in Nelson called Sturrock & Greenwood which is where he got to practice on a huge variety of AC and refrigeration equipment (will post more on that next time...so October ) Pretty much all photos of Tim from NZ included a fish so here I give you "Man with Gurnard"

11.01.2022 Electric hybrid to the rescue. Pulling out a large 4WD fitted with snorkel.

11.01.2022 Another day, another A/C unit.

11.01.2022 Its really neat watching the kids at these schools react when they see me in my hi vis and workwear.

10.01.2022 During his schooling, Tim completed an internship working for a company that set up ground source heat pumps. At the time, we were living in central US where the temperature variations are huge (can range from -36C in the winter to 42C in the summer). A ground source heat pump utilises the more constant temperature underground to heat or cool a building.

09.01.2022 Squee! It finally feels like summer - but that means servicing your AC to make sure its running properly. Tim serviced ours today and fixed an issue that would have seen us waste entirely way too much water (and money!)

08.01.2022 By popular demand...our new series: dad jokes. What did the vinaigrette say to the refrigerator?? Close the door, Im dressing!

07.01.2022 I wish I had taken a picture yesterday! Poor Tim was up on a roof for most of the day. His shirt went from light blue to navy from all the sweat!

06.01.2022 "Get to Know your Local Fridgie" update. I put Tim in charge of coming up with a delightful, informative story about ground source heat pumps. You know, something thats relatable, hilarious and provides an Oprah "ah-ha" moment. Was that too much to ask?

05.01.2022 Working on a faulty dessert fridge - likely as a result of a power surge during those electrical storms a couple weeks back.

05.01.2022 Today starts the series "Get to know your local Fridgie". I mean, correct me if Im wrong - but theres only so many interesting photos of AC units.... Tim was born and raised in the US. He initially went to University with a focus on Mechanical Engineering before switching over to a 2 year technical degree in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

05.01.2022 So excited to win a preventative maintenance contract with a client weve been wanting to work with!

04.01.2022 Too close for my comfort.

02.01.2022 I’m getting the hang of these lame jokes

02.01.2022 Watch out Perth - were now licensed and ready to assist the boss! And Im pleased to report there were no tears shed by Clare.

02.01.2022 What a wonderful break weve had! Did everyone else enjoy their Christmas and New Years?? Tim had just enough work to keep things moving but with just the right amount of time off to go boating, check the cray pot and go swimming with our 2 boys. Now hes back into it - poor thing is sweating away on top of a roof and in a ceiling space today. Hope everyone else manages to keep cool! Tim - 0468 461 651

02.01.2022 Not going to lie. I love toys!
