17.01.2022 We gave the soil in the bath a boost with mushroom compost, home made compost, worm castings and a little sulphur. The cherry tomatoes should do very well once they get over transplant shock.

16.01.2022 Thanks to Lana Edna Sue and Cheryl for manning the table - lots of interest and brochures given out. I asked people to check the calendar of events for opening hours and what's on over Christmas and January.
15.01.2022 Last week Rod donated some used carpets to the garden. We will use them to cover weeds and then cover with bark chip mulch to improve our pathways. Thanks to Ryan Burns for making the arrangements and Rod for taking time to drop the carpet off.

15.01.2022 The Bushrangers from Coodanup College were a great help in the garden during their 3 visits after school this term. These guys and their teachers spread mulch, weeded pathways, painted, planted, fertilized and repotted succulents. We had a taste test of herbs and leafy green vegetables and broad beans. There was a sausage sizzle, cooked by the bushranger team and we tried a healthy green smoothie. Many thanks to David from Coodanup College for organising the visits and the community service. Last photo: Lana and Teresa helped me show the bushrangers how to do some work in the garden.

12.01.2022 The "Pumpkin Patch" is looking awesome! This isn't just a novel idea - those jeans make great planters. More photos soon.
11.01.2022 The Pumpkin run is starting to take shape. Huge thanks to the Home School kids for all the work they did filling and planting the Pumpkin garden bed. They also ...worked hard spreading the wood chips. I have finished making the Pumpkin man from old jeans. I really hope others will make one too (hopefully better than mine) to add to the impact. Can't wait to see those pumpkins and squash spreading out and turning this area into a green run. See more

08.01.2022 THE CHRISTMAS PARTY - The food was awesome. Thanks to everyone for sharing and creating a wonderful Christmas feast. The highlight was opening gifts with a twist. Each person could choose a gift - however, you had to be careful because the next person could steal it! We had one thief who was caught on camera stealing the Honey Pot then making a run for it LOL!
