23.01.2022 Did you know that any item smaller than the palm of your hand does not get recycled if you put it into your kerbside recycling bin? yes that’s right they go s...traight into landfill. This also includes bread tags So what should we do? Collect and recycle them with an alternative program. Aussie Bread Tags for Wheelchairs is a program where recycler Transmutation - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle (who are part of the global Precious Plastic movement) pays Aussie Breadtags for the bread tags and these funds are used to buy wheelchairs for people who can’t afford them. It takes around 200kg of plastic ties to fund a wheelchair. So start collecting these at home, work or school - get your local community involved. Don’t let these small pieces of plastic go to waste to pollute our land and our oceans. In Mandurah local cafe DPM Cafe is a drop off point for breadtags Thanks guys! Not from Mandurah? Light The Night is an event of the Leukaemia Foundation, a cause very close to the Cox Legal Crew. We thank everyone for their donations this month. ... And we will keep on donating blood/plasma with the Red Cross and rewarding you with discounted fees when you do the same! We will continue to require sign in either via the app or our manual register.... We will also continue to space our appointment schedule to avoid any more than 1 guest at the office at any one time, which will be necessary only when phone consultation is not suitable. If you arrive early for any scheduled meeting, please wait in your car until the correct time. 17.01.2022 Working on a Sunday is not always welcomed, however when you receive emails like this below, IT CERTAINLY IS!!! Our latest little 4legged project is growing so fast! I have lost count of how many dogs we have been lucky enough to sponsor, but have never lost count of the number of clients who have happily paid their account, knowing they too are contributing to this cause. ... If you are not sure what your legal fees contribute to, then ask your Lawyer. I am sure they will be paying it forward in some way or another as well.

16.01.2022 Today we will again pause and remember the Police Officers who have lost their life in the line of their work. We believe every person has the right to return from work each day A L I V E, regardless of the job they do. We trust that like the years before, and the various causes we openly support, we shall be questioned as to this position given the nature of the work we do, including criminal proceedings.... We invite the questions and challenges. It opens discussion, dialogue and always offers an opportunity to learn. And for the most part, it is rarely our criminal clientele that raise the question. It is usually the average Joe Blow. Ask. Discuss. Consider. Learn. So again, in 2020 when it has been the most challenging for all workplaces, we shall take a moment, THINK & THANK all that contribute to our society. May everyone return to their home today, alive. The pebble tossed into a river never fails to ripple. Nor does death, for anyone. Neither Offender, Enforcer, Court Officer, Juror, Joe Blow or their respective families are resistant to the ripple of death.

14.01.2022 Today we take a moment and enjoy a laugh, a smile, a snicker and few yeah that was funny We don’t enjoy knowing that another person went to work and didn’t come home. Every person, regardless of title, income or otherwise should come home from work. ... My stance on this has been consistent. And yes, this includes those in drug trade, violence perpetrators, police, paramedics, lawyers, retail workers and everyone in between. Equally. In the words of the great Tom Petty I shall stand my ground and won’t back down on this. Today, we think of those elsewhere, those left behind and the tears of distress, joy and laughter that hopefully shall mend every broken heart just enough to survive another day. Catch ya!

I cannot speak to his qualifications.... If I do, I’ll offer to help him sanitise his offices to same Level that our Glen20/Dettol/PineOClean hospital smelling space is and polish his Practice Certificate for him. I might even ask him to do the filing!
