02.01.2022 PLEASE READ...... This is a wonderful concept that I personally would love to see happen here in Mandurah.... if you can help or know of anyone that can please ...contact me... thank you Pulse Productions WA Inc. is a non-for profit organisation that provides youth from a wide range of backgrounds, with opportunities to develop skills and experience in the Performing Arts Industry. Pulse enables talented youth to develop self-management skills for their own benefit and for the benefit of the community. These self-management skills are integral to being healthy and having an active lifestyle. The Mandurah Performing Arts Centre (MPAC), have kindly provided a space for this team of young people to train and develop their skills. In turn, they facilitate circus workshops in schools, at festivals and at events, to increase self-confidence, concentration, build team work and communication skills. The Pulse Outreach program extends specifically to Youth at Risk and has proven to be extremely successful in engaging participants in positive, healthy activity through circus. In 2019, Pulse is also developing an all male-based production, Airborne focusing on young men as positive role models in our community. The project consists of two stages; a community development phase and development of the production itself. We are urgently looking for someone to donate a rehearsal space large enough to house our set (at least 14m x 14m) for the community development phase of Airborne. Attached is an overview of the Airborne project.
