19.01.2022 WHAT a weekend for Mandurah Ocean Club!! Over 520 sausages and 25 KG of Onions SOLD on Saturday at Bunnings - THANK YOU to all our friends, family and locals who tackled the new rules and came along for a sanger!! THEN on comes sunday at The RAMON a PWA event - Rosalie doing an awesome job as always!! WAS SO AWESOME to see so many MOC and WAZA clubs paddling including an adaptive paddle crew (well done Hurricans Outrigger Canoe Club!!) 15kma, 10 ladies registered for the OC1 ...start!! A 1st place for O'lando Mauri, a Kahele AMA doesn't fit a Gemini OC2 lol, many pictures taken of happy people on and off the water, maybe a couple of the ground (wonder who that was??), car swapping, bag holding, brownie scoffing.... AND ITS STILL WINTER.... can you tell we are counting down the days till that wind comes rolling in and the sun is on our backs...#bringondownwindasummers #mocrules #waza It's time people...be part of the fun. 04.01.2022 Nordic Kayaks Ski Demo - Mandurah Ocean Club Sunday 16th August 1.00pm -2.00pm. Location: Old Sailing Club, 1 Halls Head Parade, Halls Head.... This Sunday ZSS Paddling Equipment will be travelling with the Nordic Kayaks Ski fleet to Mandurah. We will have the new range of autoclaved pre-preg carbon skis available for demo and viewing. The demo will take place from the Mandurah Ocean Club. Even if you just have some questions and not wanting to get wet, you are welcome to come along. 04.01.2022 Great news! The 2020 Mandurah Duel has received DOT approval for December 6th! Start preparing for legendary downwinder where differing paddling disciplines face off against one another on the world renowned Cut Run. Raced over the sprint distance of 12km the fastest will complete the course in the low 40 minutes while others will average in the 50s. Many will take longer and just enjoy the spectacular waves and wind as they paddle along the Mandurah coastline from The Cut to the Old Yatch Club beach. Note the date! More information soon.
