24.01.2022 Hi every one The Mandurah rowing club has acquired a number of rowing boats and a trailer. We currently have a temporary storage facility, but will need something more permenant very soon.... The trailer is very long and ideally we would need a secure shed around 23m in length. If there is anyone out there with one of these lying around and wouldn't mind if we used it for a while could you please contact Cameron on 0415268859. Regards Cameron Hearne

24.01.2022 Our application to incorporate has been submitted to the WA Department of Commerce for their approval.

24.01.2022 Hi everyone. Great news we have our first have a row day down at our new location, with the guys from row gear who run the learn to row school programe and senior programs as well. Come down and have a look and check out the club house, bar and maybe even jump in a boat and have a row.

22.01.2022 Hi every one, we are exited to announce that we have been working closely with the local council about water front sites for the club location and have narrowed down to 4 great locations. We are now looking for any people interested in joining a committee for the building and fundraising for the club shed and storage facility. This would also include a business case study. Please re post on the facebook page or email us at [email protected] . Thank-you.

21.01.2022 Awesome news everybody - UWA Rowing have kindly offered us for FREE - a boat trailer! This is a huge development in that it will mean we can get on the water sooner rather than later. However the trade off is, we have no-where to store it until we have sheds. Everyone please share this post and try and help us find some secure commercial land somewhere central in Mandurah where we can store the trailer (and boats) as a short/medium term solution until we can get the club up and running properly.

19.01.2022 Hi everyone, Mandurah rowing club has been doing some behind the sene work to get a school rowing programme running. We have been successful in getting funding from Rowing Australia to help run the programme, but like all sports they rely on volunteer work. I am looking for people with rowing experience that would be able to put some time in to coaching the future of the club. You do not need to be an ex Olympian, just someone that can steer our young group in the right ...direction. Don't worry if it's been a long time since you have been in a boat, we will have some professional coaches on hand to lead the way. In preparation for the club getting out on the water and rowing we need to purchase equipment and get it on location, for races and local rowing days. We are looking for 2 volunteers to come on board as the mens and women's club captains. These people should have some experience in this type of role before, or very passionate about getting this club rowing. Mandurah rowing club is officially incorporated, which now means we can now apply for sponsorship and grant money. We have a position available to chase these extra money revenue areas down and get the money kitty built up, and intern cheaper for us to run the club. If there are any financial savvy people out there, Mandurah rowing club would love to here from you. Please contact us back on this email or on my mobile 0415268859. Cameron

01.01.2022 Well this is the newly fabricated base of the trailer. A lot of time and effort went into this. A big thanx to larry who donated his own time, equipment and shed/drive way. Some boats will be picked next week. Our next problem storage. Please come forward if you can help. Maybe a large property or work site. Building roof tarps. Please help.
