25.01.2022 Its with deepest sadness that MSC is not able to maintain its street patrol in the Mandurah CBD and foreshore Saturday evenings. However we are still working with local community such as Foodbank; Passages; City of Mandurah and well continue to provide a caring hand where we can. Our world is going through a season completely unprecedented. Covid19 had brought about much uncertainty; difficulty and challenges. If youre needing help please contact us on 0416 654 5...67. Well do our best to assist you. We pray that you your families and friends look after yourselves and stay safe . 24.01.2022 What an honour I get to share this news with family and friends. So greatful of Gods works in our city On Monday I received an email advising I (Karen Jarvis Director) had been nominated for Community Citizen Of the Year Awards for 2020 Whilst the nomination is in my name I am fully aware that I am only one piece in this wonderful organisation... ... I am so blessed and privileged to lead an amazing team of 13 volunteers (and expanding) of which without their support and commitment, we as MSC would not be possible. We continue to look forward to serving the community into 2020 and beyond. Thank you

22.01.2022 Hello everyone. After several months break due to covid 19 it gives us great joy to confirm that our usual shifts (with some minor tweaking) will be resuming from Saturday 4 July. Hours 11pm - 4am. Our volunteer team of two patrols Mandurah CBD and foreshore on foot providing a caring hand for all no matter the situation - from general chats to providing first aid and more. We are there to help you!!! ... Look out for our team wearing purple polo shirts and blue/yellow jackets. All display street chaplain wording. 22.01.2022 Following our recent post. MSC is assisting local organisations with volunteers and supplies that are still operating to provide services for the vulnerable. Were calling for your help here too. If youre able ... to help please consider the following: Volunteers: Foodbank Mandurah is desperately looking for volunteers. Training provided. Please call Megan 9581 9200 to discuss further Volunteers: While MSC cant physically be conducting our roster .... we are still keen to speak and train people for our organisation so that were ready to move again when all settles. Were looking for committed people whose passion and heart is to serve those people out and about that may need our help. Chaplains provide a caring hand for all people when it matters, in a non judgemental manner We provide a valuable service to Mandurah community during the hours 11pm - 4am every Saturday night and Friday nights (where possible). Our works support not only those people out and about but the hoteliers; night club; security; police and ambulance. The team I am in are specifically raising funds that will be donated to Headspace Mandurah. Sausage $2.50 each plus can soft drink/water $1.50 each 100% of net profits stay with street chaplains and provide assistance with stock; up-skilling; loving community and our volunteers and more ! ... MSC is 100% fully volunteer self funded organisation. Youll see us out Saturday nights from 11pm - 4am providing a caring hand when it matters.
