25.01.2022 Now back from my holiday down in the Great Southern....and it truly was!! Lots of wildlife, some lovely Tigers and a beaut of a Carpet Python....Sorry I couldnt help up here but back into it today with a very elusive Dugite! Keep your eyes peeled and look out for your pets....put my number into your phone now as its way easier when youre not all in a tizz ;-)

23.01.2022 Crossing paths with another healthy Australian Carpet Python....non venomous as it constricts its prey...a real beauty and as all snakes in Australia are, protected under the Wildlife Conservation Act making it an offence to kill or remove it from its natural environment....

21.01.2022 Great to see this little fella safe and pretty much unharmed, if not a little bit flustered! Great save of one of our native tiger snakes by a fellow snake relocator in Victoria, nice job mate!

18.01.2022 Weve met some real beauties recently...I do love the Tiger Snake...

18.01.2022 Great advice on looking out for these fantastic little characters

15.01.2022 Merry Christmas yall :-) Heres to a peaceful break for you, me and the snakes!! I will have my phone on and do my best to get to you as soon as I can....remember to put my number in your phone now!! Have a lovely time and stay safe ;-)

14.01.2022 It was a great privilege to spend some time with the guys from Bali Reptile Rescue yesterday. What a fantastic opportunity to get to know some of the locals, including the mighty King Cobra, spitting cobras, Javanese and Balinese reticulated pythons and a well fed Burmese python to name just a few of the species being cared for at the centre. Many thanks for your kind hospitality and for sharing your knowledge. Its always a pleasure meeting fellow reptile lovers!

12.01.2022 With spring just around the corner and the warmer weather, time to have a clear up of stuff lying around in the garden and keep an eye on what your pets are into......put my number into your phone and if you spot a snake, give me a call and I will come and relocate it back out of trouble! Most bites occur because people try and kill or catch them (which is unnecessary and illegal) and remember that even the babies are born highly venomous so dont take any chances!!

11.01.2022 Had a busy weekend...Keep your eyes peeled and look out for your pets and kids as the snakes are out enjoying the warmer weather..Had a busy weekend...Keep your eyes peeled and look out for your pets and kids as the snakes are out enjoying the warmer weather..

07.01.2022 Was called out today to deal with this fantastic specimen who was causing quite a stir in a ladys chicken coop......as promised pictures of the release for her son who missed all the action :-)

07.01.2022 A good article shared from Perths Urban Reptile Ecology...

06.01.2022 This little fella was in quite a bad way when we picked him up from a property in Lake Clifton. Aside from being in need of a good feed, he wasnt using his tongue at all (a sure sign somethings wrong when a snake isnt flicking his tongue out to check out his environment!) On closer inspection his breathing was raspy and his mouth full of mucus and infection. It was clear he was going to need some specialist help and fortunately for him, the Armadale Reptile Centre very... kindly offered to have a look at him and see what they could do. A 2 week stay later and after several injections of antibiotics, anti-inflammatories and Betadine mouth rinses, he was a different snake, tongue flicking, feisty and full of fight! So grateful to the guys at Armadale Reptile Centre who do such a fantastic job caring for our native reptiles...without their help this little fellas future was not looking so bright. When we went to collect him from the centre he was still reluctant to eat and showing signs of an imminent skin shedding, so we kept hold of him for a few days to make sure all went well and to give him a good feed before releasing him into the National Park. Such a great feeling seeing him heading off into the bush, fit, healthy and ready to live a long happy life!

05.01.2022 With this warmer weather the last couple of days and spring just around the corner, its a great time to clear up any old rubbish, leaves etc from around the house and the garden as the snakes will soon be back out looking for a feed .... Watch out for bobtails in amongst the leaves/compost etc as they like to hide up somewhere warm and if found just give me a call and we can discuss where to put them out of harms way (they will have family around so dont just take them off somewhere as they dont do well on their own). Stick my number in your phone now and spread the word...0498 475 288...with some common sense we can reduce our risks significantly, particularly for our pets...

05.01.2022 This SW Carpet Python was ready for his dinner after recovering from a nasty infection :)

04.01.2022 Anybody have a sewing machine and some time spare on Friday 17th? If you can help out, these guys have fabric but need help sewing pouches for our wildlife...

03.01.2022 Just a reminder to keep your flyscreen doors closed in the warmer weather...2 calls this week with snakes in peoples kitchens!!Just a reminder to keep your flyscreen doors closed in the warmer weather...2 calls this week with snakes in peoples kitchens!!

03.01.2022 I came across this feisty fella who needed to get off the road before he was run over....

02.01.2022 This little juvenile bobtail was waiting on my kitchen doorstep for me... the poor little fella was struggling with an enormous tick on his neck which Im quite sure he will now be a lot happier without... while my wife was wielding the tweezers we took the opportunity to help tidy up his tail too..he had some residual skin caught on it from a shed and was dragging it around behind him. All spruced up and released back in my garden...he came by for a visit later in the day which was a great opportunity to do some more "leave it" training with my dog!

02.01.2022 Although this little fella is harmless enough, it hadnt chosen the ideal place to call home, in the homeowners craft supplies box! Hes now been safely relocated to the bush

01.01.2022 More interesting info about the mighty Bob
