25.01.2022 The Central Tablelands Food Pantry has been able to help many of our community families needing a little support. Before our Food Pantry began operating in April this year, we as a church had no idea just how bad things are in our community. Our monthly food parcel distribution has increased from 100 food parcels in April to 160 in September, and we're not too far away from needing to increase the number yet again to 200 food parcels. Our food parcels provide more than a few ...meals. For many, it gives them a reason to "hang on to hope" that things will get better. Thanks to the generous support of our donors, our volunteers and other organisations, we can do more to help our community. ADRA Australia has played a significant role in establishing The Cental Tablelands Food Pantry, and this month through the ADRA Appeal, you can support tremendous initiatives, like The Central Tablelands Food Pantry, to help people in need. To donate to the ADRA Appeal, please click on the following link. Your contribution will be greatly appreciated and will go along way in helping others. If you would like to donate directly to The Central Tablelands Food Pantry please send us a private message or email us at [email protected] We thank you in advanced for your support and we wish you all a safe and restful weekend ahead and God bless. https://www.adra.org.au/adra-appeal/ See Less See more

24.01.2022 An update regarding Big Camp

15.01.2022 Dear church family The South NSW Conference Board recently met and discussed the 2021 Big Camp. After considering current restrictions around gatherings and fo...r places of worship, plus the unlikely easing of those restrictions soon, it was deemed too uncertain to continue planning for Big Camp to be held in January 2021. As an alternative, the Board proposed to conduct Big Camp at Easter, and we can now confirm that Adventist Alpine Village can accommodate Big Camp at Easter 2021. For planning purposes, Big Camp will commence on Thursday evening 1st April and conclude on Sunday evening 4th April 2021. Further details will be provided as they become available. Thank you for your continued faithfulness to Jesus, love for each other and ministry to the community.

09.01.2022 Apologies for the late post!! It has been a busy week & we have much to be thankful for. Firstly, The Central Tablelands Food Pantry hit the 200 food parcel mark!! This is great news as it is clear that the need in our community is huge! But we’re grateful & praise God for the means to serve our community through our Food Pantry. We would like to say a big thank you to the amazing Rotary Club of Bathurst for helping us pack parcels on Tuesday night. Your support is greatly ...appreciated and we look forward to seeing what more we can do together for our community. Thanks also to our ever reliable & efficient Mens Connect Group!! Its always a pleasure working with you gents and we appreciate your support. Thank you to Kifi Hale and The Heartland Foundation, Second Bite and Coles Bathurst for adding to our ability to do more for our community families. Finally, I’d like to thank our brilliant and ever supportive church family for there work behind the scenes organising our food order, setting up the hall for packing & cleaning up the hall when all is done. Thank you to our distribution/pick up teams, and to all our generous sponsors for your donations, and for all your prayers and support. What a journey it has been since we first started back in April. Thanks again to each person who has contributed to making a difference to our community. God bless PS. Apologies for the lack of photos.......our camera guy (our pastor) got carried away feeding his face around the BBQ after packing Will do a better job next month

01.01.2022 Central Tablelands Food Pantry Done & Dusted for 2020!! We have so much to be grateful to God for, especially as today officially marks the end of our Food Pantry for 2020. We hit another milestone with 234 food parcels distributed to our local communities, schools, and surrounding towns this past week. When we first start back in April this year, we thought 100 food parcels was a BIG number. We didn't envision that we would get above the 200 food parcel mark so soon. We reco...gnise that we could not have done it without the tremendous support, hard work, and dedication of our entire Food Pantry Family and our community. This post is a shout out to thank the amazing people that have played a vital part in serving our community. Thank you to: - The Bathurst, Mandurama, Cowra, Mt Druitt, and Windsor Seventh-day Adventist Church families - The SNSW Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church - ADRA Australia - The Heartland Foundation Ltd - The Sanitarium Health Food Company - Thrifty Car & Truck Hire Hornsby - Food Bank Australia - SecondBite & Coles Bathurst - The Bathurst Lions Club - The Rotary Club of Bathurst - St Vincent de Paul - The Rayzorbacks & Stingrays Basketball Team's - The Men Connect Group from the Bathurst Neighbourhood Centre - The Cowra Neighbourhood Centre - Your Dreams School Programs - 2BS 95.1 FM - The principals, teachers, and chaplains of the 17 local schools in the region from Bathurst through to Cowra - To anyone I have forgotten to recognise in on this list Thank you so much for the valuable contributions you have made to our Food Pantry and to our communities. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year. Bring on 2021!!!
