This is not to cover up, but to enhance and we believe knowing you look your best helps you feel more confident in front of the camera. We want her to take this opportunity to step outside of her comfort zone a little and try new things and different outfits is one of those new things. ... We have a large studio wardrobe she is welcome to choose outfits from for her shoot and/or combine with her own outfits. We do an in person style consultation with her before her photo shoot day to choose outfits. Our teens take how many selfies a day, but when a professional camera is pointed their way, they freeze and have no idea what to do.... I've got you covered though. 12.01.2022 I have some exciting news! At the start of 2020, I decided to focus primarily on boosting confidence in teens, helping them to accept who they are and realise they are good enough just the way they are right now. I've watched many teens transform in front of my camera and walk out of our studio with their head held high and feeling more confident. To know I help teens find the confident girl they have hidden away inside of them, lights a fire inside of me that burns bright e...very day. Recently I've been asked quite a few times, if I photograph women, not just teens and the answer is definitely yes! Before focusing primarily on teens this year, I photographed a lot of women for the same reason as teens. To help boost their confidence and feel better about themselves. Unfortunately as we start to age, our bodies start to change, we have more lines and we don't look like we did when we were 18, which can cause a lack of confidence and our self-esteem to decrease. 09.01.2022 I haven't introduced myself on here for a while so I thought I'd do that again. A big warm hello to all of you. My name is Mandy and I'm the driving force behind Mandy Lee Photography. When I was 40 years old I fell in love with photographing women and teens girls after I bought my first "professional" camera and did some beginner workshops and about 5 years ago, I decided to go for it and Mandy Lee Photography was born.... For me, what I do is so much more than just a job, it's something I picture myself doing for years to come because it allows me to show all women and teens how incredible they truly are, and I honestly couldn't imagine doing anything else. Seeing the looks on my clients faces after they see their photos is nothing short of amazing! 08.01.2022 No. 8 in our Did You Know Series.... Did you know.... Our Teen Photography Experience includes a style consultation? We meet up before your photo shoot and work out exactly what your daughter will wear for her photo shoot. She gets to try on outfits from our studio wardrobe and see what she would like to wear for her shoot. ... We do a minimum of 6 outfits for each of our shoots and many of our teens are known to wear up to 20 outfits! They are abit tired when they go home from all the changing but it's so worth it, to create multiple looks and for our teens to experience stepping outside of their comfort zone to try on outfits they wouldn't normally wear and love how they look. 06.01.2022 When I was first learning the ropes of portrait photography, I have to admit it wasn’t pretty. I made tons of mistakes, like the time my mind went blank and I forgot all of the posing rules I had learnt and I didn’t have much to show for all of my hard work. But I kept going because I knew I couldn't give up, and eventually I got to where I am today, and I couldn’t have done it without persistence and determination.... So, if you're looking for a sign to not give up, this is it. Like this post if you vow to keep going, even on the hard days.

One of the biggest concerns I hear from teens is they don't know what to wear, how to pose, or how to do makeup properly.... We do all of that for you.... and more. I have been personally taught by a world-renowned women's portrait photographer and I will guide your daughter through the entire process. It's not just about the photos, it's about the experience......... Every teen has their own personality and I will capture that by taking plenty of time preparing for her transformational photography experience. I take care of the wardrobe, hair and makeup for you, so I ensure your daughter looks her absolute best before I even start photographing her. We'll do a mini posing workshop in the session, so that your daughter feels good about how to pose, from the top of her body down to her toes.
