02.01.2022 Hey Insta!! I've been on a social media hiatus but I thought I'd drop in and say hi. Everything is well but I've been exhausted! Mentally, emotionally and physically. So I've been trying to focus on my own healing. Part of which has been to disconnect from the pressures of social media. . It's #fashionrevolution week, a movement to slow down, to ask for accountability, to be fair in the fashion industry. And along those lines, I think we also need to talk more about the con...stant pressure to be pushing out content, to constantly be online, to constantly prove our relevance and we need to make it more normal to switch off time to time . I'm learning to be more in touch with myself, my body and mind, and I truly believe, in doing so, I can better my creative practice and consequently, the products I design and create for you all . This is all a part of slowing down, learning to be present, to be still. We cannot produce and support slow, ethical fashion that is built on old capitalist and consumerist structures. To practice sustainability, we need to practice slow living, to be more in touch with ourselves and with nature, to practice gratitude.
