23.01.2022 Sorry for being MIA! But got some good news to share Firstly, here’s a quick look of a tote bag I illustrated and designed for my design assignment. The illustration was created using @procreate and then professionally printed onto a tote bag. I then brushed up my beloved embroidery skills to embellish the design the design brief and concept was to ‘Normalise Public Breastfeeding’ Secondly, I’m making me year 12 graduation gown!!! So excited for this projec...t as it’s going to be the biggest challenge I’ve taken up yet. I made this top at the start of last year as a promotion for @maneeza_rahmany_designs , using fabric sourced from my annual trips to India. My lovely boss allowed me to display it at the @dresscodedarwin. A stranger who walked past the window display, loved it and bought it. 05.01.2022 TOILE (twaal) is a French word which literally means ‘linen cloth’ or ‘canvas’. Here, you can see how important it is to make toile’s because it REALLY allows you to rectify your mistakes. For this bodice I’ve had to make 3 toile’s! From my first, to my third (and hopefully last!) you can see what a big change small differences in measurements can make. From being ill fitting and quite straight, my last toile has a lot more curve, shape and movement whic...h hugs the body.
