09.01.2022 Mobile Horsemanship Consultant. Massive welcome to Jo Marshall, our Manes of Change Mobile Horsemanship Consultant. Do you have your own horse and need some support or instruction?... Jo can travel to you to support you with your horsemanship goals. Maybe you need help with float training your horse? With Fire season upon us, being able to evacuate our 4 legged friends in an emergency is so important. Jo can help you with preparing for this and even bring a horse float with her to the sessions to practice with if you don't already own one. Jo can also help you with catching, worming, handling of your horse, ground manners, ground skills, agility, liberty, riding safely and riding with confidence as well as answering your questions about horse care and horsemanship. Jo is highly qualified and experienced in the natural horsemanship field having studied in the USA with natural horsemanship legend Pat Parelli himself and being one of only a handful of people in South Australia to have completed the Parelli level 4. Jo's enthusiasm and confidence in horsemanship along with her passion for sharing her knowledge shines through in her teaching. Please private message via Manes of Change to enquire about or book your home consult with Jo.

05.01.2022 When youre part of a horses herd they protect you as their own. This morning I went to walk into the paddock and Cloud started acting differently causing me to stop. Clouds ears were alert, snorting and focusing his gaze intently on the path I was about to walk. He used his energy and body language to push me back out the gate.... As I stepped backwards I saw the tail of a snake go under a piece of wood right were I was about to walk. Cloud then put all his energy on the wood, trying to lift it and using his hoof to stomp. The gentle giant only stopped when I was out of the paddock and walked further down the fence line. To say we love this special man is an understatement
