22.01.2022 It is with an extremely heavy heart that I write this. Following the State Governments announcement today regarding regional shutdowns, we will be closing the salon end of day Monday 30 March. The shutdowns mean that I am unable to leave our region to get to Perth to obtain products that I would need to operate. If you have bookings in the next couple of weeks, send me a message and I’ll see what we can work out. This isn’t the end, we will be back as soon as they let us! Please stay safe everyone and we will see you on the other side!!

21.01.2022 Ok, with numbers increasing from Coronavirus and the winter flu season almost upon us I’m asking you to PLEASE stay home if your feeling unwell. I have 2 family members with comprised immune systems who I am in direct contact with. Simply rebook your appointment for when you are no longer symptomatic. The same will apply to myself, if a family member becomes unwell we will take every precaution to not spread it any further which may mean having to reschedule appointments. 17.01.2022 With the new regulations being released today to do with Covid tracing we are now asked to keep a register of everyone 16 years and above who attends the salon. The details being recorded will be the date, the arrival time, your name and telephone number. We will be using good old fashioned pen and paper so there is no need to download any apps. These details will be kept private and only handed over to the authorities IF there is an outbreak. ... If you have any concerns or questions please send me a message. We have all done so well this year so let’s keep helping each other and together we are stronger and safer.

Of course the new Covid-19 policy is still in place and if your feeling unwell or have had contact with anyone from overseas or anyone showing symptoms please don’t attend your appointment.

13.01.2022 Hey everyone, hope your all keeping safe and doing ok. If numbers of new infections continue to stay low and the risk doesn’t increase again I am looking at reopening in 2 weeks time. The same precautions will be taken as before, only 1 customer in the salon at a time, hand sanitiser will be supplied for you to use upon entry into the salon and if you have been unwell or in contact with anyone who has I ask you stay away and reschedule your appointment. Opening hours and days will be confirmed as we get closer

09.01.2022 We’re back....almost. The salon will be doing a soft reopening towards the end of this week. What that means is we will be open but appointments will be very spread out to allow for deep cleaning to take place after each of you and evening bookings may be a little hard to juggle right now. Unfortunately at this time I won’t be taking any new clients. Hand sanitiser will be supplied and I ask that you use this upon your entry into the salon. Also don’t be alarmed if you see me with a mask on purely following recommendations from my industry leaders. Message now to book your appointment.

03.01.2022 UPDATED CORONAVIRUS POLICY With what’s happening in the country right now and to assure you that you can have your hair done as usual we are disinfecting the salon after each client. This will mean that you will have me all to yourself as we will only have one client at a time to make you all feel as safe as possible. We aren’t on lockdown so there is no reason we can’t carry on as normal with just a few little tweaks and some common sense

02.01.2022 Just a little more housekeeping/ rules for our COVID reopening, because of social distancing and only being able to have one customer at a time, you will not be able to bring your children along with you to your appointment. If you are wanting to book several children in for haircuts, I ask that you keep your children in the car and send them in one by one and you wait for them outside the salon. While numbers of new infections are decreasing we must still remain vigilant. Failure to follow these instructions from my industry leaders will force me to have to cancel appointments & once again close my doors. So let’s all do the right thing and kick this bloody nightmare to the kerb!!
