25.01.2022 VERTIMOWING This is the best method of de-thatching and utilises a special machine to remove the entire thatch layer. The lawn is then left to regenerate from i...ts above-ground and below-ground runners. Vertimowing is particularly useful for lawns that are mowed with a cylinder mower because it not only removes the thatch, but helps level the soil surface as well. Vertimowing can be a labour-intensive, dirty job, but well worth it for the lush lawn you will get the following season. 24.01.2022 Someone said to me last week, but I get it a fair bit, you must have wanted a son pretty badly, with all your tinkering and outdoor mucking around and I said ...why would I need a son to enjoy that stuff anymore with my kids?. Then yesterday while mowing the lawns Indie asked if she could have a go. So I propped up the seat so she could reach the pedals properly (and keep the engine running, there’s a weight trigger in the seat, so it stops when you hop off) and under some safe supervision, she ENGAGED BLADES and did some lawn mowing.
