Mangrove Jack Fishing QLD is going to put on a few 5 and 7 hour fishing charters for its valued members at a discounted price.... 3 spots on each charter are available with Deano from Back To Basics Smooth Water Fishing Charters. Make sure you all jump over and like his page Back To Basics Fishing www.b2bsmoothwatercharters.com You will learn how to target Mangrove Jacks & Mulloway Jew on the 7 hour charter and Mangrove Jacks on the 5 hour charter. The discounted session will be a evening session between a Sunday and Thursday subject to availability on the date. Afternoon/evening session times for the 7 hour charters are from 4pm - 11pm or 3pm - 10pm $200 a head and 5hr charters are 4pm to 9pm at $170 a head. Once we have numbers we will book the date that suites us all. If it’s just yourself or a group of you that’s fine we can put together seperate groups to go out. 03.01.2022 Mangrove Jack Fishing QLD would like to introduce Lachlan O’Gorman to you all. As of today we will be sponsoring Lachlan and supporting him to build his fishing career that he dreams of. Lachlan is an autistic 13 year old little legend who’s been fishing without support since he was 3 years old. He goes fishing 6 days a week every week and loves chasing Jacks! Over Christmas school holidays (7 weeks) he fished over 400 hours and got his 1st Jack on a lure (48cm) in Decem...ber then backed it up with another(42cm) on a lure 2 weeks later. He then caught 4 more later this season on bait. Lachlan fishes for all species normally going out to target a set species each time. He takes his mates to his spots and enjoys his friendships he has built with the fishing community. He has a massive passion for fishing and has decided he wants to make a career out of fishing. The pictures below are some of his recent catches and his little boat that Locky and his Dad put together so he can go chase his dreams. 02.01.2022 Ok everyone with our help from the team at Switchbait we are getting some shirts made up for our members. This Jack season we will be running competitions and doing giveaways for those who have their Jack pictures with our apparel in them. The shirts will be $50 plus P&H for those who would like to get involved. All profits will be going towards a good cause helping the younger fishos and doing more giveaways. These are not cheapo quality shirts like a lot of the others we ...are seeing around at the moment. Please see chart for size reference in the pics. Kids, Male and Female sizes available!
