23.01.2022 "What is The Man Grove Project?", you may be wondering... Well, the idea of planting a garden with medicinal plants and herbs beneficial to Men's Health is merely the "seed" of a much larger idea which has been germinating in my mind for years. The physical garden itself (The Man Grove) is the initial element of a larger project which seeks to explore the cultural context in which men's physical health and wellness is often ignored or neglected by men themselves, and society ...more broadly. The Farmacy: By planting a medicinal garden devoted to healing plants and creating a "seedbank" to share and promote this plant diversity with the wider community I hope to stimulate discussion and understanding of the cultural habits, biases, and psychological barriers which foster the general apathy of most males with regard to self-care, diet, health and wellness.
