23.01.2022 Well the big girl breathed fire for the first time tonight and it was a text book first run, we couldn’t be happier she ran perfectly. A few little tweaks to do before paint but all in all a huge success. The Manhorne reverse flow design never ceases to amaze me how well they run. A huge Thankyou to all the Manhorne and Full Throttle team involved in this build. With a special thank you to Craig Darken for his consistent and flawless design and engineering which is critical to the quality and consistency of every one of our Manhorne smokers.

19.01.2022 So a few months back we were tasked with taking an existing Jambo Smoker and building a Manhorne version of the famous American Jambo Trailer for Rod Ribney Harvey from Charcoal Project BBQ. So in Manhorne style we decided to make it bigger and better....well we hope we have, time will tell. To get this thing perfect we commandeered a few master panel beaters from our other business Full Throttle Custom Garage to work with our bbq crew to create what we are hoping to be s...omething really special. There’s still a way to go but stay tuned to see the finished product. Once the Boilermaker’s and panel experts are finished this will be getting the full show car paint finish and some crazy airbrush designs from the Full Throttle Garage crew.

18.01.2022 Some finished pictures of the Jambo trailer build. Was a great collaboration between our different trades to get this done to such a high standard. It’s not every day you see a smoker trailer built and painted to show car specs. There was a huge amount of custom fabrication that went into this project. Thank you to the incredibly talented team we have across both our businesses Manhorne Smokers and Full Throttle Custom Garage.

16.01.2022 Undertaker Update: The undertaker build is coming along nicely and is starting to really show the true size this behemoth will be. As far as we know once finished it should be the largest reverse flow BBQ smoker in the Southern Hemisphere and possibly bigger than any offset BBQ smoker in Australia.

Weighing in at 6.3 tonnes capable of cooking well in excess of 1 tonne of meat at a time the size of this needs to be seen to be believed. 08.01.2022 Here’s a little sneak peek of the Jambo trailer we are building in collaboration with our sister business Full Throttle Custom Garage. We will be streaming a live unveiling of this for it’s lucky new owner Rod Ribney Harvey from The Charcoal Project at the Kondari BBQ festival in Hervey Bay this weekend. Still a lot to do before it makes the trip north so a few more late nights for our amazing team. Here’s hoping y’all love it as much as we do.

So instead of waiting for someone else to come up with something bigger and better we went out and bought this bad boy. So I introduce to you what will be The Double Throttle !!!! God only knows how we will get it to work but that’s the fun of it isn’t it. This will definitely be a crazy one of a kind build... 6.5 tonnnes as is!! See more

02.01.2022 Here’s something very different from us here at Manhorne! Our great mate Tyson Eagleton wanted a traditional offset with an old school unrefined finish. You won’t see another Manhorne like this one. Although it’s very different to our normal reverse flow perfectly finished smokers we do like the way this one turned out.
