26.11.2021 Dear Parents I have just sent you all an email but in case you didn't receive it for those of you on our Facebook page, here is the email. Yahoo!! As you would now be aware it was announced yesterday that some of us are out of lockdown. All teachers are very excited that we will get to see our Preschool families again as of next week, Monday 13th. ... Please see below the announcement taken straight from Early Childhood Education Department. Children in LGAs where restrictions have eased can return to early childhood education and care services with the same rules in place as prior to the stay-at-home orders. In summary: Educators should wear masks in indoor and outdoor environments Services should continue to ensure strong hygiene practices and good ventilation in learning spaces Parents and carers should wear masks, check in using the Service NSW QR code and continue with COVID-safe practices with pick up and drop off Only essential visitors should be allowed at your services Excursions are not recommended at this time What this means for us is that we get to see you all before we break for school holidays. Your children would be all to familiar with everyone wearing masks at the moment but where we were exempt from wearing them inside the building, Teachers are now required to wear masks both inside and outside. We will continue to collect your child at the front gate of a morning and deliver them back to you of an afternoon. We will be abiding by our health and Covid policies, but also following NSW Health guidelines. Any child exhibiting any cold or flu like symptoms won’t be allowed to attend and will be sent home from Preschool if they become sick during the day. Anyone who has been in any of the remaining lockdown areas will have to be tested and self isolate. Please help us to keep yourself, all Preschool families and Preschool staff safe at this time by abiding by the rules. We hope you are as excited to be resuming Preschool as we are. Please inform us if you are NOT bringing your child back for this week. AS more information becomes available to us we will pass it on to ASAP. Thankyou, stay safe and see you next week
