25.01.2022 Ruth Purnell - Club Championship Winner Colour Print - Cracked The frozen lake at our doorstep at Hali, Iceland taken early morning the ice surface had been pushed towards the land causing it to crack but was quite safe to walk on. The light made the scene very magical. Tripod used, f/16, 1/5 sec ISO 100 @ 24mm.

23.01.2022 Hi All, Just a reminder..... From now on our meetings will be held in the MAIN CLUB.... Set up from 7 pm to start 7:30 pm Ask at the reception desk where it will be held. (Either the Lyons Den or the Encores Room.) Parking as usual. We look forward to seeing everyone on Thurday.

19.01.2022 Alan Purnell - Club Championship Winner - Colour Digital Ice Beach This image was taken somewhere on south west side of Iceland. The wind chill factor taking this shot was amazing and the wind was blowing as hard as it looks. Tripod kept on freezing up. If you painted the snow yellow it would look like an Australian sandy beach scene, except it is snow. Surprisingly, there was no one else around we had the beach to ourselves. Taken on a tripod, F11, @24mm on a 24-105 lens, ISO 100, 200th of a second.

18.01.2022 Alan Purnell Club Championship Winner - Colour DIgital Eigg This image was taken on the Isle of Eigg in the New Hebrides of Scotland. The island in the distance is the Isle of Rum. As only the Scottish would name an island with this name. These islands are quite remote, access is via a ferry that runs once every couple days. Shot was taken on a tripod, as low as I could get to the water without getting camera wet. 16mm, F8, iso 100 at 0.8 sec. Taken early in the morning.

12.01.2022 Ruth Purnell - WInner Colour Print - Pondering at the Pines Sugar Pines at Laurel Hill (NSW) - the locals like to walk up the hill via the man-made corridor between the pines throughout the day. This gentleman was very pensive as he strolled down the path to his car. Taken late afternoon hand held, f/11, 1/30 sec, ISO 400 @ 47mm.
