22.01.2022 Sorry to disappoint again, but we're still not having our Market this month of October, nor probably November. The school is so focused on the ongoing issues with the education of the 720 students at the school, and the 50 staff members, that to add the market into the mix is an unnecessary burden at this stage of the school year. Fingers crossed for December, after the school year has finished.... I ask patience and understanding please. Comments about why are other markets on and we're not, will be politely ignored.

18.01.2022 Hi everybody! The good news (great news actually), is that the Manly Village School Markets are rebooting on December 19! Woo Hoo!... We're obviously having to make some minor adjustments to adhere to our Covid-19 Safety Plan. We'll be restricted to around 100 stalls instead of the usual 140, and the unfortunate news is that the cancelled March Market this year left me with 140 prepaid stalls, so the first market on December 19 is already full with those who had bookings in the postponed March Market. We won't be accepting any new bookings at the moment, and those who would like stalls the January 16 Market, will need to call 0435 610 675 from Monday January 5 to check availability. We will obviously have QR Codes to be scanned at the gate, hand sanitizer all over the place, and Covid Marshals cruising around to ensure social distancing takes place. It'll be the week before Xmas, the day after school break up, and we're hoping for a classic Community Market to celebrate our return. I ask for patience from stallholders frustrated at not being able to get a gig, but over the coming months, we'll slowly return to normal (hopefully)! Please tell your friends we're back, and see y'all Saturday December 19!!!!!!

15.01.2022 Seems like there's no change to the suspension of our monthly market with today's (July 1) NSW Government directive. Limits on outdoor gatherings remain in place, which means markets and the like are still off the cards, unless strict adherence to social distancing is followed, which is far too complicated at this point. I think we'll wait.... It's all still very unpredictable, so please all stay safe, be patient, and we'll all be together again in due course...........

12.01.2022 Just to let people know, those who had bookings for the cancelled March 2020 market, I will be calling you in the coming days to have a chat about placement in the next market/markets........so standby!

09.01.2022 Sorry to say but the conditions for the Manly Village school markets to take place are still not present, and will not be for at least another couple of months. There's too much uncertainty, so we'll wait until we've got a clear road ahead. We see no point in opening if we have to limit numbers of stallholders, limit numbers of people through the gate, collect names and numbers, and everyone is paranoid about touching things. ... All the best to all, stay safe.

05.01.2022 No good news I'm afraid, only confirmation that the Market will not be on this Saturday, September 19. We are in constant contact with the Principal at the school, and hopefully will be able to restart in the coming months. We're weighing the benefits against the possible negatives, as are so many individuals and businesses around the world in relation to all kinds of issues.... Obviously there are strong arguments on both sides. Onward and upward................

03.01.2022 Sorry to say the Manly Village School Market will, yet again, not take place this Saturday as scheduled. Although some markets around Sydney are opening up, we believe the time is not yet right for us. We operate in a very small school playground, and rather than restrict the numbers of stalls, and patrons, we've decided to wait until conditions improve. The recent increase in case numbers in both Victoria, and some areas of NSW, also make us hesitant. ... Please accept my apologies for the delay, as I know many are keen to return to 'normal'. I'm hoping our community understands the issues we all face. We have no agenda here, but to be safe and act accordingly.
