25.01.2022 Manly Warringah Choir was founded from the Warringah Symphony society in 1975 and was incorporated as The Manly-Warringah Choir In. in 1998. This community choir based on Sydney's northern beaches aims to provide a programme of predominantly classical music to the community of this area. Under the leadership of Dr Carlos Alvarado since 2003 the choir has developed in confidence and ensemble.

Singers of lullabies; singers of nonsense and small scraps of melody. Singers on branches and rooftops.... Morning yodellers and evening warblers. Singers in seedy nightclubs, singers in the street; Singers in cathedrals, school halls, grandstands, backyards, paddocks, bedrooms, corridors, stairwells, and places of echo and resonance.
